I’m a hairstylist and I was looking for what flat iron to buy! Thank you for doing this video! Just a pro tip, after you flat iron a section, don’t touch it! The oil from your hands will ruin the style. Allow it to cool. It will be less frizzy and set in the style. Same with curls. Don’t pull them apart right away, just let it cool!!

A friend gifted me the "T3 Wet or Dry Tourmaline Ionic flat iron " (T3 83922-SE model) about 5 years ago and STILL WORKS! This flat iron still leaves my hair super straight just as it did the first time I used it (it takes no time to quickly heat up). I can also do curls or waves with it. If you are considering on purchasing a T3 flat iron, this is the brand you want to get! I've had mine for soo long, that I don't think I'll buy another brand when I have to give my current one a rest. T3 is a bit more expensive than most flat irons, but is worth every penny and it will last you for a very long time. Thank you for doing this video and reassuring me that T3 is by far the best flat iron brand.

The GHD doesn't get hot enough and the T3 seems like it's too hot/burning

@@sophialaaribi5259 with my frizzy hair, I have to go slow down each piece of hair with it using small sections but after that, it is fine and stays smooth and silky for days. It's the only flat iron I've found that can do that w my difficult hair. If I go too fast or use sections that are too large and walk out into humidity, it frizzes so I have to remember to take my time

Please review the ghd original hair straightener vs the Ghd platinum plus!! That would be so helpful! Ps I have the original and love it hate the new platinum plus Hard to get close to roots it’s bulky and have to go over sections too many times.

Alex Santoro no i have the ghd and i have curly hair, it only heats up to a certain temp so it’s not hot enough to make ur hair super straight. i don’t recommend.

First time I heard about the bioionic straightener was from Ebony's Curly TV and she has thick curly hair too so it probably didn't straighten your ends as well because the temperature needs to be higher. I think Ebony used hers on 420 deg 👌🏾👌🏾 I enjoyed this comparison! 💕

What mistake are you making? If I had used a blower, you would have smoother hair as the tips would seal more. Not surprisingly, many women lose their hair because they put 450 F of heat and the plates are a double-edged sword. and use a smaller comb that works for you. Stylist's advice.

How do titanium straighteners damage your hair long term? They can reach higher temperatures but you can control that...

yeah, I wouldn't say long term either, I think it depends on what your hair type is and what your needs if you want to straighten your hair in my opinion

i may be really late on this...but now this is how you do a flat iron review. with someone who has the most thickest, curly, wavy, coarse hair! i dislike it when people do a flat iron review and their hair is nothing compared to how Farrah's is! like mine is EXACTLY like this...and I currently own the GHD Classic and have had it for 5 years and it just doesnt work the same...but am keeping it of course until it totally dies. I think the T3 may be my next purchase through Shoppers Drug Mart since it is cheaper and they have way better deals than Sephora. and it is easy and simple and less hassle to return because i have had extreme bad luck with Sephora.

I love the color of your hair last year! Any chance you could tell me what color it was so I can try it on my hair? I'm a professional hairdresser/ beautician so I can rock that sh*t out girl! Your hair looks great straight. My favorite hair straightener is the "in styler" my hair is down to my waist and super curly with ringlette curls and it straightens my hair to a beautiful, silky pin straight. I’m not a fan of Chi irons anymore. The styling tools just do not do any thing for me anymore. I have been reading and watching reviews on flat irons for thick, curly AND frizzy hair! I ended up purchasing a T3 and can not wait to use it!!! I thought about GHD but I wasn’t a fan of the one heat settings.

@@Ohkeh640 I have thick curly hair and I use the silver bullet keratin 230. Better than GHD. I found that GHD never worked for my hair. When I'd use it, my hair would end up being wavy which was super annoying. I've tried my friends silver bullet brush and it also worked wanders, not sure of the name though. Hope this helps!

How do you have that much hair and only buy 1 inch straighteners?! Girl, get a 2 inch ceramic. It will blow your fucking mind. It will take you probably 10 minutes to do your whole head if that. It’s a breeze.
