Wow this was the type of review I've been looking for on this printer, so many reviews from photography perspective but not from an artistic or illustrative perspective. This has been so helpful....
It’s so amazing that you’re working with Canon, you should be proud of how far you’ve come. The printer looks amazing and paper is fantastic quality, just what I would’ve expected from Canon to be honest 🥰
My attention is no longer focused on the printer, but is attracted by the various beautiful pictures in the video. Very colorful, very cute, imaginative and makes me feel happy😃
I am blown away! I ordered one and it's coming today and I can't wait!!! Thank you so much for this very professional video. Your work is AMAZING!!! I can't wait to try some of the papers you've shown. You are truly talented. Great video and very helpful! Thanks for sharing!
I like that printer screen is big and on the front. I wish more printer manufacturers understood that not everyone has 20/20 eyesight. My current printer has a postage stamp sized screen on the upper left side and it’s horrible trying to change settings.
Oh wow! Fantastic that Canon approached you Em, and the prints are amazing. I didn't know you could get (domestic) printers that used 8 inks! I love Canon stuff, just wish I could afford to replace the inks in my printer, ha!😐 Very best of luck with everything, sweetheart. Have a great summer! 🤗😗
Hello, I would have few questions about this print. First of all, thanks for your review, because many reviews are from photographer perspective, and i'm an illustrator. - Does the printer use a lot of ink? Or do you think it's ok from your usage ? - Do you buy the original cartridges or a generic brand?
The review of the printer brought me to your page which I super appreciate, but I also just fell in love with your art style! What is this called, it's sort of like papercut, collage- with the most beautiful texture. It's quite impressive. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Hi, I wanted to know that, how much ink did it consumed when you printed those all papers. Mine printer just printed only around 130 4R pages with all that 8 cartridges. The inked reduced so randomly... I was amazed because the cartridge is a bit expensive though it is small in size Please do reply me.....
Please please please put the harbour print back in your etsy shop as I really would love to have that one! Really pleased for you that you’ve been gifted a printer that’s really going to be great for your work.
Hi! Just watched your video and noticed you’re using a MacBook. I’ve heard that there have been some folks with problems using the Pro-200 on a Mac running MacOS Sonoma. What MacBook/MacOS are you using and have you had any troubles? Great video by the way!
Can you maybe do a video how you edit your art and how you handle the color profiles on desktop and the printer :D? I really love your result but my prints look kind of matt and unsaturated :(
Hello, just doing some research on which printer to buy, I’ve got my heart set on this one, but I’m also seeing people comment on “ink absorber” needing to be cleaned. Just wondering if you’ve had to do that?
Did you paint these then scan them in to the computer with the printer scan? Sorry if I missed that part. The video is very helpful… but do you know how similar this one is to the canon Pixar Tr4725? I can’t find anything on it… worried I’ll have to get a different one
Im glad I found your video. I bought this printer last year and I have to wash my art out on photoshop for it to print "accurate" on my pixma pro 200 and now I'm wondering if I got a faulty printer. There were no videos last year on RU-vid of artists using this printer so I couldn't tell if it was normal to have to massively edit my work. My scanner scans my images amazingly.
I have this printer. I absolutely hate it. It’s always something with this printer. You need to have just the right amount of paper in it or it says it’s out of paper. Too much or too little and you’re gonna get the out-of-paper notice. And it burns ink like it’s going out of style. The ink boxes are $105 a pack and the printer is constantly asking for them to be replaced. Also, if the printer says it’s low on ink, you better replace it or it’s gonna mess up your print job. If you’ve got a lot of free time and like playing with your printer more than you like to print, this is the printer for you.
Oh no sorry to hear you've been having issues with yours! I've been using mine multiple times a week for around a year now and have made 100's and 100's of prints without any issues. I think in that time I've had one minor issue with it which I managed to fix in the settings. It was leaving a little black mark at the edges of prints but I did something in the settings which magically fixed it! As for ink I say I replace the colours I use the most around once every two months and others I've only replaced twice in the year Ive been using it. I've found the ink low warning comes quite quickly, but I just ignore that, as from my experience theres still so much more juice left in it. I only replace the cartridges when I get the final warning come up where you have to replace it. I did try ignoring this message once to see if there was any ink left but the print came out clearly missing a colour so I guess that final message really is when it's empty!
Thank you for your video, and I bought this printer after. Please can you tell me if magnetic photo paper MG-101 is really running with Pixma Pro-200 because for canon it is not compatible ! I ask them about that and they don't answer. Many thanks.
why the frame is always larger in one side of the print? no too much maybe 1 or 2 mm. 17:07 the right margin and the left margin, left look less larger
Great quality prints and you’re very talented. I didn’t realize the evil frog from the beginning until you said that. I thought it was some sort of artistic view on a vaginal opening. I feel bad saying that, but that’s where my mind went. Sorry 🤦🏼♀️
Do you trust a review that a company has gifted something and you’re working with them? You have to say it’s good don’t ya. It’s not exactly cheap if it isn’t all singing and dancing
