I learned that Benzoyl Peroxide causes skin to purge during the first few weeks as it increases skincell turnover hence causing certain dirt, debris, and oil to raise unto the surface. Basically your skin has to go through its worst state before it gets better. I'm on my 3rd day of using Benzoyl Peroxide and I'm currently having skin purging as well while my cystic acnes calm down 🥲 but I guess we just have to trust the process 😄 PS. It's best to use a mild moisturizer after Benzoyl Peroxide to avoid irritation and dryness 😄 May we have clear skins soon 💖
Yes I’m still going to use it but it can be very discouraging sometimes when you feel like you’re doing all the right things but your acne is getting worse ❤ One day we will have clear skin ❤
Focus more on soothing products like something for redness and also you might have sensitive skin so focus on light exfoliation before using the strong stuff, I would recommend Cerave and kbeauty for acne
