My husband started learning Japanese when we were quarantined. He's still at it. So I've ordered him the Japanese snack packs on a few occasions. I don't mind the surprise but a lot of times they're too fishy for me. I don't like seaweed either. I ordered him a 16 pack of Japanese KitKats. They came in today. We tried two today. All flavors we don't get here. My grandmother grew concord grapes so I know exactly what you were talking about. And shoot out to Fall River Massachusetts for their chow mein!

I also had memories of the old Italian grapes. My uncle had a wine cellar and he always made homemade wine 🍷. I was 16 the very first time I got drunk from my uncle's wine. My mom was sooo mad at me. My aunt thought I was in the backyard with my friend and instead was in the wine cellar getting my drunk on. Oh yeah my parents were pissed. I love the reaction whenever your dad gets the fishy snacks. I can never do a taste test on anything. I don't do good with fish or eggs or anything hot.
