HELLO FRIENDS!! what did you think of this anti-highlighter? is it a highlighter?? have i said highlighter so many times that the word has lost meaning? EDIT: also, i didn't use any brushes because using fingers helped warm up the waxy product, tho i think that the beauty blender was definitely necessary!
Travis Sivart I almost never wear makeup but I watch tutorials all the time because it's kinda soothing and it's also like art so yeah, you aren't weird.

I'm so glad Saf responds to people's comments! It really makes us feel loved. Speaking of the product though, I adore the eye shadow and contour aspect of it! I also love the color as a lipsticks, but don't think it would be long lasting.
Anti-Highlight, to me, means the opposite of Highlight. So, "Low-Light" or - in a makeup/beauty context- "Contour". I get how it would be confusing, though. But it got everyone's attention!

I'm so happy someone did a review of this! I actually own it and LOVE it. Its lovely for a monochromatic look, my favorite uses are on the eyes as a subtle dark purpley shadow and as a lip gloss. I'm so over all the unicorn/glittery/super bright colors trends. Bring on the darkness lol
I’ve tried it as well, it’s more of a cool tone so it doesn’t suit my warmer toned skin, but for more artistic looks like monochromatic ones where I use greys blacks and whites, it adds a nice touch!
I love your videos because you explain things clearly as well as speak clearly. It's hard for me to understand what most people are saying unless they talk superrrr clearly.

The product itself is great, but the marketing from all of these articles and other media platforms aren't helping this product along. People go in expecting a black, shimmery item, when in fact it's used for basically everything but its shimmer.
It shouldn't be called an Anti-highlighter, because that sounds like something you would used for getting rid of the natural glossiness of your face, but it's used for lipstick, contour, eyeshadow, and blush. It should be called The Glossy Dark Lipstick Contour Eyeshadow Blush.
I'm kinda late on this, but you should mix that highlighter with like coconut oil to make more of a lipstick type thing. Like the recipe you used in the full face of DIY makeup but use the highlighter instead of a crayon. :)

They should call it something like "All makeup one (minus highlighter)" even if that sounds a bit extra... cuz all of it together looks great and thats basically what its meant for.... now I'm realizing this comment makes no sense and I'm also realizing i just commented on a makeup video... smh
That things is really cool! Ive never seen an "all in one" makeup like that before. It has a pretty nice color to, not something u would normally look at and immediatly think to use as contor or blush but it works this is a look

When I saw anti-highlighter, I just thought it was some kind of contouring technique. Like when there was that whole "anti-contour" thing that put extra emphasis on highlight... I thought maybe this is what that was. It looks pretty neat though; I love things that have more than one use. I must say that as a contour, it did some serious chiseling. I'm definitely into it for that and as a lip colour. I have a lipstick problem.
I don't understand why people don't understand that there are people with dark skin tones??? This highlighter would look the most natural on someone like me. I can't use the regular highlighter colors they have everywhere without making it very obvious that I smeared something on my face that either looks white, pink, or gold. Yes, I can use gold, but it wouldn't look very natural and I'd rather not look like a disco ball everyday. When I use gold, it is too obvious that i have that on. I usually use a smooth shimmery brown eyeshadow for my highlight because companies just don't think dark people need to look all that natural I guess. Calling this an anti highlighter is really fucked up because it's like saying "only light skinned people live in this world and whatever doesn't look good on us doesn't belong. It won't look good on anyone else!" i had the same reaction to Jeffree star's black highlighter, when people kept saying "why did you make this, it doesn't look good on anyone." Like yeah no shit it won't look good on you if you're white, but there are black people who are extremely dark, almost the color black. So they can use it. EDIT: people are assuming I'm mad at Saf, but I'm not, I'm subscribed to her. I'm mad at the people who are calling this anti highlighter and just kind of assuming it won't really look good on anyone.
Fizzy i think that's a great point with jeffree star's onyx ice, since his actually has shimmer in it! besides the bit of gloss, there's no highlighting properties to this thing at all (and the company says it's not a highlighter). maybe this could work on darker skin tones as a natural looking contour tho? let me know if u get it and use it!
Fizzy I'm really dark like almost black and gave the jeffree highlight away after one use lol. It looks like I bruised myself when I wear it. The abh glow kit in that glow is wonderful for me and like i said, in really dark. Maybe apply with a lighter hand?
Fizzy I'm pretty sure a very dark purple highlighter wouldn't look natural on anyone 😂 people don't think it's obscure because they forget about black people either because even black people where the same colour highlighters as everyone else
Safiya Nygaard i actually think this product might work for me, because it's about the same color i use now, but in a cream form! It looked too dark in the pan, but looks better once it's on the finger.
Safiya Nygaard I agree it looks like a massive bruise if you don't blend it but I really like it as a lipstick, contour and eyeshadow - btw I love your top xx
This looks pretty! I think it’s a cool look having it on your cheeks, lids, and lips at the same time. I also want other products by rituel de fille like their eye soot.
