Testing out the Mini High Banker Geo Sluice. Drop Riffle Sluice. 

I remember you from my school days in Superior Montana, I was the tall scrawny kid with the belt buckle, if you remember I absolutely enjoy watching anything you put on here... my brother-in-law and I built a dry washer and classifier out of a bucket, and it doesn't lose anything except for the very microscopic stuff you can't see with your eye... as far as the matt goes, I like miner's moss myself, but I also like the dream matt with the cells in it... it doesn't lose much at all. You keep up the good work, you're doing a great job!.. and you have a blessed day!

Im old school too, expanded metal and moss. Still not convinced in the plastic drop riffles, but awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to test it out and film along the way

Well...to answer your questions sir. 1. I love seeing the equipment you use and how its used. Love the whole desert prospecting challenge. 2. I absolutely adore my home made equipment with the...wait for it...dramatic pause...miners moss! The door mat miners moss is my favorite simply because it has a backing to it. No need for ribbed matting. Id guess every mat has its purpose and place in the end. But ya can't go wrong with miners moss for making cons. Throw it down the gold cube or the multisluice or some other concentrate reducer and you're in for a fun time...if there's gold there...which there is lol. Keep up the great work and the amazing vids!!!!

great review! i was starting to look at these. my favorite pc of sluicing equipment is the keene mini max that i just added miners moss too and am going to put under that the small v-matting. i run a lot of hard rock and can get some very fine gold!

That is a very good test of dry washer tails.👍 The Geo sluice is what is coming in our future in all equipment.🤔 I use miners moss and love my Le Trap.😁 If you were getting gold with the dry washer you should get a little gold in the sluice. If you were in a really hot spot that loss could be really bad.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥 Happy Easter🐇🐇

Nice sluice. I’m a huge fan of the drop riffle. My homemade sluice similar to that one catches 90% of the gold where you would be putting the miners moss. I would put a backed piece of the moss at the head like you were showing. You could rinse that small mat out in a bucket after every couple of gallons and then do your full full cleanup after about 5 gallons.

I would of done this test in a different way as i would have had a bucket of non pay dirt in a bucket then have ready a small amount of gold ready to mix in with the non pay dirt, then i would run the gold through the Geo sluice, then when finished then i would know if exactly if any gold that i started with was missed or not, this would of been more true to a test i think,,thx for sharing my friend it was a great vid anyhow

You should try one with a silicone mat and use that as the final cleanup mat..

You did it again Jack..... you made a great video ...no B S, good results ... I could almost see buying a Geo, but my wife would shoot me if I did that. With all those blower cons I kept thinking of that Batea pan I bought to handle all the fines...then I thought , Jack you need an old hot tub to capture any rain you get to handle your cleanups ....them I thought.....

Don't put miners moss at the top. The slick plate is there for the water flow. I have a larger version of your sluice box and a Le Trap and they both work great at catching the fly poop !!

I am purchasing one of these units this weekend. Did you ever use miners moss or other matting at the top? Would you recommend adding moss or matting?
