seriously? this is 450cc of displacement on a lighter frame than a factory ATC250R... i can ride the hell out of a 250R... i would be scared shitless of this 450 trike.
The lower end on the banshee was completely redesigned when they took the engine form the bike. The gear ratios are all different. Sorry but power to weight ratio the trike always wins and a much taller six speed gearbox helps a lot too. Keep the banshee in the dunes where it belongs
I’ve rode a ex or an Xr350 three wheeler thing was crazy af but that’s what my brothers and I learned on before getting a 4 wheeler my dad always said if you ride a three wheeler good you will be great on a 4 wheeler

Im sorry.. but unless the 250r is bored and stroked out to the maxxxx you wouldnt NOT touch those new 450 motors... I have a 250 and tecate 250.. multiple of each.. And i got a 250R bored n stroked over.. .60 and it is no match for my buddies Honda TRX450R quad.. I stay with him for about the first 20 feet.. once i hit 4th hes still in 2nd going to 3rd than i hit my 5th and hes in 3rd 4th and pulling away from me hard.. Like i said unlesss you got the 250R bored n stroke out and setup just right with the gearing IE Sprockets.. Than it has no chance with the new 450 4stroke thumpers.. there just totally diff beasts compared to the oldies.. Even the old 4 strokes to today 4 strokes are no comparison
Cool but It's will never make history nothing like the real thang got to say the Honda atc 250r is just simply the best made 3 wheeler that will ever be long live the Honda atc 250r (c-ya)
Ronnie Haley tpc has or maybe had a website. The prices i think were if you gave them the donor bike it would cost around 6 or 7,000. But if they had to get the donor and convert it, it was like 14k. Not cheap.
The amount of people in here who think they know what they are talking about, is crazy high. Have of the people in here have no knowledge about trikes when they claim they do.
jdog942 you would want more weight on the front of the trike so you can turn it without the front end pushing, more weight in the back isn’t what you want when racing those newer bikes. of course you would want the center of gravity lower for better handling, but lowering the back is not the way to do it. In my opinion those TPC bikes aren’t the best made bikes for modern day trikes
When you change the exhaust and/or air intake you should always re-jet the carb. Adjusting the air/fuel will make it richer but not give a higher volume of fuel
really guys the 350x or the 250r and the tecati are the only engines that should be in trikes that thing is slow not jetted right hmf exhaust or not and the swingarm mod wtf motor is to big and dont make enough power.....2 strokes for life
