Testing People with Shaykh Rabee’ | Abu Iyaad 

Shaykh Abu Iyaad clarifies a issue that even many ‘salafis’ have misconceptions about. This issue of testing people with individuals has been misunderstood and twisted into something it’s not by certain people, then used to attack our teachers upon the Sunnah. The Shaykh clarifies the correct methodology with testing people. He also refutes the distortion of Ibn Taymiyyah’s statement on this issue, which people use to justify their innovated stances.
I’ve also included some statements from scholars who have also clarified in detail that this issue is from the methodology of the Salaf and that it is permissible. So the listener should have no more doubt concerning his matter. From them is Ahmad an-Najmi, Zaid al-Madkhali and Ubayd al-Jabiri رحمهم الله.
