Yes that’s my favorite one in this video tiger willow to white and the fast burning white made them scatter almost looking like go getters I’m currently working on a bunch of different changing stars with them willows next I wanna make tiger willow to red or white strobing tips!

I got to ask, #1where did you learn to do this fine work. And #2 are you doing this for pleasure or work... Or both. You do good work

#1 I learned myself by just being obsessed with the art of it and over time doing countless testing/experimenting, reading books, watching videos, meeting people etc 2# I build fireworks for my hobby but I also shoot professional displays for work so kinda both

My favorites were the willow, because willows are awesome, and that last 10 inch because I bet that flash lit up the area like it was daylight :-)

Those stars were definitely not blown blind, that was far from too hard of a break to blow those stars blind. They were either not fully dry or didn't have a thick enough layer of prime on them. Also, certain star formulae need a hotter prime in order to ignite them. Out of curiosity, what state in the northeast are you in? I only ask because I belong to the NHPA

I believe priming issues my stars are always a 100% dry before I put together a shell, usually I use monocapa prime but I need to start doing a 2 step prime with a layer of bp prime over the monocapa and I believe I should start getting better results with that and in the 8” some stars definitely crumbled from not evenly distributing the comp in each pin hole in the plate so some stars got less pressure then others but all the others are blown out from prime I’m pretty sure and I’m using ofca boost on bp hulls for breaks and I live in New Jersey!

Try a black powder prime with 5% diatomaceous earth. Used in swimming pools. Also add 5% 325 mesh silicon. This will light anything and everything. I used this all the time in my building days. You could add 20 grams of flash to the burst in those shells and with this prime they will light. The prime is called (fence post prime) if you google it you will find it and can read about it. I loved it.
