You should use the Danesaa Myricks as a primer (the translucent) as use your fingers to really mesh with skin. Learned that from Maryam Maquillage, you should watch her videos using it. Loved the look by the way!!!
Girl yes! My skin is so oily and I’m matte at the end of the day without feeling dry! You have to give it a sec to set and when it sets it’s matte. I can use two different shades. I use shade 5 in the center of my face and it’s just a tad brightening. I put my foundation over it and it almost makes it a little more full coverage. Then after, before I set I use shade 7 as a bronzer. On my light makeup days I only use the blurring balms and don’t use foundation and just set with a light powder. It’s made my other foundations that I’ve had issues with oiliness and lasting power work better for me!
The way i used it was put on hourglass primer then let it sit and put this on top then foundation used the MuFE HD and it kept me from being oily the whole day and my face is like butter oily but I have never used it on top of my makeup I also bought the Mally one I wondered if you could test that too
I’m really oily, I use the Danessa as a primer. I use shade 3 and it gives me light enough coverage to even my skin & set with powder for a ‘no makeup’ day. I loveeeeee it.
I’m a very oily gal and I LOVE the Denessa myricks yummy skin, but you have to use it as foundation for a no makeup makeup day! Press it in with your fingers!! I swear it’s ANAZING! it keeps my oils at bay all day but it still leaves a natural looking glow
Casey use the danessa AS A PRIMER only...its extremely blurring...and does mattify...it dries after a few seconds..I'm very oily too...give it a try as a primer!!! I think thats the only way to use for us oily girls....the patrick ta palette is everythingggg!!!

You definitely have to use it as a primer. I have the universal, and use it in my Tzons as a primer and love it! It absolutely keeps my oils at bay all day long!. I wouldn’t use it any other way!.
Yep there’s something in it that does control the oils. And I haven’t used it before but want too! I have it in my cart right now just haven’t actually purchased it yet. But from all the reviews I’ve seen on it I’ve only seen it used as a primer so far I think 🤔
I’ve heard people use the Danessa Myricks balm as a primer. You should try the darker one as a bronzer/contour and see how it goes. I think it would be really pretty once you set everything with powder!

I am so obsessed with the Care Bears collection. I was able to get the night spray and it smells like lavender and feels so good on the skin! The collection really just felt comforting and nostalgic! It made me fall in love with Care Bears all over again and I am a 24 year old! There is just something so comforting though about it!! Glad you liked the products

I went out and bought the Revlon concealer after you last talked about it and I love it! I also got the brightener shade for under my eyes and it’s really good as well 🙌
I LOVE the Denessa Myricks thing as a primer or even a foundation if I’m not looking for full coverage 😂. I press it on with a Blendiful type poof and omg, it’s THE BEST thing I’ve ever tried for oily skin. I just got the new Nikkia Joy Matte base and that’s not as good (I was so excited because Nikkia has oily skin) it was definitely better than nothing but the DM is so good!! I’ve been through almost half of the product because I use it every time I wear makeup.
I returned the Yummy Skin balm. I tried it all the ways mentioned in the comments and still hated it. As a primer it made my texture/pores worse and it didn’t work underneath my foundations. Peach Perfect was my hg powder. After trying dozens of loose powder my new go to is the Nikkia Joy loose powder. It’s not the same as Peach perfect, but it is good in its own right. The best I’ve found.
Thank you for your recommendation on the peach perfect powder. I got 2 of them when they were going out of stock. I'm oily and it's the only powder I use. What other powder do you recommend to take its place because I'm inetivatibly going to run out of peach perfect. LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS 💕
I have the revlon dupe for the CT. I’ll say with the revlon I have found to do one little section at a time and pat it on. It seems to get patchy on me but I don’t follow those exact steps
Not sure if you read comments but thought I would share...my complexion is like having a acne prone oil slick and I love the dm product. I use it as a primer, use a thin veil of produ t and you have to almost massage into the skin this activates the product I found Maryam Maquillge on RU-vid is also oily skinned and she has done some excellent videos with the dm product. Just thought I would share because this product has been a life changer for me in Arkansas heat. I was also baffled about how to use this product. Love your videos
So I have dry skin and I got two shades of the Danessa Myricks balm powder. I hated both, the clear one isn’t anything special to pay almost $50 (cad) for me and I tried it on my channel. I turned into a cake, it was a hard no LOL
Their is something about the formula In the Charlotte wand that gets me😆and I hate it because it’s so expensive!! It’s perfection . What is it about her formula ??!! Does the revlon feel and look that way ??

It’s basically a crimper. An old school 90s crimper. Watch rawbeautykristi’s video on the hair tool. But save some coin and buy a crimper- literally the same thing
You just use The crimper up near your roots right under the top layer of your hair just do it on the underlayers. And then the top layer is nice and flat and hides the crimper marks but gives your volume it works really well actually.
You need to try the blurring balm as a primer/initial step. That's its intended use for sure. It is really nice and blurring. I personally think the tinted ones are more blurring than the universal balm.
