I recently bought one of these. It's a bit different from that but it's still the same thing. It has undetectable USB built-in. This is way superior then my elgato just because you don't really need software, just OBS. I recently discovered today you can record in 4k. You have to manually type in 3840x2160. All this time I didn't know this. You need to try recording in 4k because it worked for me on a $18 capture card. Also it depends on the computer too. I tried on a laptop it was capped at 30fps. Tried on my gaming rig, stable 60fps recording in 4k. It all depends on the computer.
Thank You for this video. My setup consists of a monitor a switch and and a new acer laptop. Sorry to sound like a idiot new to making content and was wondering where to plug the other side of the cable in?
Hi, at 10:54 you have mention that you have setup this device as third monitor? I want to buy this device, and my idea was to connect PC1 and set it as additional monitor, play some content on that "monitor" and to connect USB to PC2 and show picture over OBS and record it. So from what you have say it should be possible to record in this setup?
@Terk Tae bro i have s9 plus when i connect this capture card the display goes 60hz to 30hz bro it is mistake of capture card or my s9 plus tell me pleass bro you are my last hope
Hey bro I'm looking to start live streaming on RU-vid do I need anything else than this capture card a camera, mic, computer. I've never used obs either. Basically I want to stream while I play a video game and have the face cam. Thanks
Hey! That sounds like it should work - maybe the only other thing I would consider is an extra monitor just for convenience. As long as your computer is capable of playing games at a decent graphic quality while streaming, you should be good. OBS is pretty easy to learn, but I could do a video about it if you'd like to learn how I use it. Thanks for watching!
@@EliasOlsen thanks bro yeah I would like to see a video on obs for sure! And yeah I want to play my ps4 or ps5 and stream for game plays. I think I'm going to get a lil bit more powerful capture card tho found some on Amazon for like 45 that look good with more ports for 2 mics.
@@tonylight777 I'll definitely get working on that OBS video. It should definitely work with PS4, and I assume PS5 as well. Would you mind linking what you found? I'm curious about it :)
