The kalimba you should try playing it over a wooden box, or over a guitar, so that it acts as a sounding board. And the glow-in-the-dark drumsticks need to be placed under a strong light for a few seconds to "charge" them and see them in the dark for a while. Big big love from Italy! 💗
4:24 i recognise that song.. hydrate don't diedrate.. jingle bells, taking Ls, this world is so worth it, something and then dear diary im lost, make me alive, chicken pot pie, 5 minus 5, Exercise. I fell out the chair, my clothes are wet, i am the microwave that blew up
1:19 No way! I thought she was allergic to smiling All it took was a cowbell I guess you could say she had a fever, and the only prescription was more cowbell
I absolutely LOVE your videos Elise! I look forward to every one; They always make my day. Thanks so much for posting this. You always go the extra mile to make awesome content. God bless!
Or use a black light? Set up your drum kit so a black light shines on the snare drum, while you play it may look nice and bright IDK it may charge the glow, then you can wave them and pin glowing drum sticks and rock out.
"I think you can have fun and be disappointed at the same time."😂 Congratulations. You have an entry, with full accreditation, in my Great Quotations text file. BTW, if you wore the wrist bells while strumming the ukulele while playing the kazoo, would you sound similar to Bob Dylan's one-man-band sound?
She’s been on RU-vid for like 7 years She has hundreds of normal videos about her real life The whole not smiling thing was done specifically for TikTok people who can’t watch anything longer than 48 seconds But she got you And now none of you can shut up about it
This was a hilarious video! Tbh you really could use these instruments and make a lofi beat that would really be cool with effects. Glad you're doing well.
It's 106 F where I live and I just drove home with a pecan pie in my car. This video is just the right amount of time to leave the pie in the freezer to cool down a little. Thank you, Elise. Great work once again.
@@EliseEcklund Just want to let you know, I'm the guy who.... Said if I made any income from my fiction writing or songwriting, I would buy a Blue CIty Ukelule, and play it. I can afford it right now but you have to set a bar for yourself. Right? Said my maternal grandfather was Swedish and his name started with "Lund", but I don't look even slightly Swedish. Now I'm wondering if my sense of humor came from my Swedish ancestry. There has to be a Scandinavian sense of humor. Right? Said I learned everything I know about contemporary songwriting from your videos. It's really true. By the way, Oscar Hammerstein II, the musical playwright and lyricist famous for the Sound of Music, Old Man River and other standards was half Austrian-Jewish and half Swedish. He looked Swedish. Also, by the way, I've noticed that you never do videos about dealing with people at work. I think I know why. Good for you. You're not missing anything. Working was the worst part of life for me and I'm glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. I get to live on funny money now.
I live near the world's largest musical instrument museum, yet my curiosity will not be satiated until it features an exhibit of cheap plastic instruments curated by you.
That giant piece of yellow plastic is called a pan flute. Usually they're made of wood or bamboo. Try listening to the soundtrack from the original Picnic At Hanging Rock movie for some haunting sounds.
You can tune the kalimba by adjusting the length of the arms. I managed to tune mine to D#major - but it's a pain in the ass to do so have patience, but if you find the correct tension on the screws it's very doable
Ok I loved the mini harmonica so I bought one from Amazon for $5.00. And yes I could play music on it. WAY COOL! Love the chime and wrist bells that you played with the ukulele! AWESOME!
