So if you’ve been thinking about getting this one over the Revlon. Do it! I tried the Revlon a year ago but had to return it. The Revlon was too hot made my rosacea flare and bits of my hair would get stuck in the brush. This one! Yes! This one is not as hot or loud and it’s easier to grip. I’m so glad I watched this video. I recommend this one for sure.
Adriana, Couldn’t agree more! Using the Revlon my EARS would feel like I was using a flame thrower 😂 and my Face beet red! Also, so attractively, I’d be SWEATING like a farm animal and have to redo my makeup! So THIS dryer was a real game changer for me and I’m sure many others too if they give it a try. Sometimes people are put off by the low price point thinking it won’t work or be “junky” but it’s well made and does a great job in my opinion. And I own a DYSON (I KNOW - I temporarily lost my MIND!) and wind up using this most of the time!
Thank you for comparing this to the Revlon One Step! 8:01 Glad to know this doesn't get as hot as the Revlon one, since it gets SO hot it damaged sections of my hair and burned my neck too! Looking for an alternative and going to try this out thanks to your review. Thx
Yes! Try this if you haven’t already I recommend it too. The revlon was too hot it made my rosacea flare up. I had to return it. This one is not as hot and not as loud. I’m loving this one so far!
Hello! Thanks to your video, I bought this one at Walgreens, but in purple. This one comes with a volumizing pick. Although the heat isn't as strong as the Revlon One-step, I like this one anyway because I feel like it doesn't damage my hair
I just ordered this. Don’t have curly hair but I want to add volume a little curl in the ends so I’m excited. I like the fact that it doesn’t get too hot.
i have one of these and realize i need to put a lil effort in sectioning my hair better. thank you!!! i don't need to buy more tools so this inspired me to really utilize what i got !! 💕💕💕
I saw this Target and I was hesitant to get it because I didn't know if it will work just as good as the Revlon straightening brush because of the price of this one compared to that so I decided to watch a video to see how well it works before I make my purchase
Yes Julissa is back. So happy to see you girl. I hope this New year brings happiness and blessings to you and your beautiful family. I like the final result and the price is not bad. I think you will look so beautiful with curtain bangs. Great video as always keep up the good job God bless you always.
Wow, I just asked you for this review so thank you so much for making one!! I ordered the single shot by Drybar, it’s a smaller version of their double shot. You should do a review of that since they’re known to be a reputable company. I wonder if you’d like it, but I know you like the bigger barrels. Amazing review beautiful! 💜
I just bought one of these from Amazon yesterday and it arrived this morning. I also paid $40 and the only difference is mine is purple. Can't wait to use it.
Ahhh thank you for reviewing! I just bought mine over the weekend and I needed to see how to use it 😆 loved your calm personality ✨ ty for this video!!
I got my dr knot for around $30 on amazon prime day and I loveeee it. I’m so glad I waited out and didn’t buy the revlon. I also love that the dr knot head is interchangeable
Thanks for comparing to the Revlon! Of course we're going to ask lol! I notice you spend a lot of time on your ends although the roots are still wet. Just be careful, you don't want to heat damage your ends. 💜
Hi Julissa, Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year ❤! Your hair is so beautiful after using this hair tool really enjoyed watching so much. Take care 💕!
Julissa, Don’t know how I missed this one ( joined a while ago) but GREAT video as usual with your usual explanation and attention to detail! I REALLY like this dryer and totally agree that it doesn’t get as HOT as Revlon (a big PLUS for me) and performs really well and gets hair sleek and bouncy for a FRACTION of the price of many others! This Price point puts a great blowout in everyone’s reach which I love. Thanks again for a great one, Julissa!
@@JulissaGuillen aww thank you! Same you you lovely and your family as well! 💕💕💕🥰 thanks for the giveaway away and I do have to say I’m in love with your Juli brush🥰🥰 it’s amazing and I detangled my curly hair in no time with minimal pulling so thankful for it.
Great kickoff to the New Year with another banging hair tool! Loved it! BTW- My Mom is a New Year’s baby and I bought her the Revlon blowout and Volumizer!! I also added the Dry Bar Spray and a Juli Brush to her gift.
Hi, I'm debating between this one and the larger purple one that comes with the volume attachment. Do you have a suggestion on which one is better? I have medium length wavy thin hair.
Have you seen and/tried the 10 in 1 hair dryers? Have seen them advertised in Amazon and here in RU-vid....... but haven’t seen anybody mention them yet....... Is this something that you have heard of? Can’t wait for the hair health series !
Have you reviewed the Remington Pro Heated Smoothing Pearl Ceramic Brush? I have a lot of these round blow dryer brushes but have never tried a brush version. I have curly hair as well and looking for recommendations because I can imagine the brush paddle version may not work best for us. I don’t feel like having to return it so I’m trying to buy a good one that will work with just a few passes through the hair. I can’t wait for your heat less/natural curly hair videos!!!!! I’ve been trying different rollers/rods/braids to see if I can make some nice waves and give my hair a break. I know there are many heatless methods out there that I don’t know about (yet) 😅. If you do curtain bangs keep the layers long. Too many choppy short layers makes curly hair look poofy and mullet like 😂
I saw this and I am intrigued. I saw that this one has a diffusing attachment. I would love to see how would it look on curly hair. If this is as good as it says...I would purchase for traveling purposes.
if your hair is fully curly, not damaged like her hair, your result will not be this! The majority of hair is not curly, it is heat damaged from her constantly straightening her hair- that's why her results are "sleek" and was a quick process. If your hair is healthy at its natural state, please don't blow dry your hair on wet hair (the most fragile state) please wait until your hair is fully dry and use good heat protectors if you still want your curls to be alive after a blowout. Her process will cause you heat damage, never blow dry curly hair when your hair is wet- direct heat will fry your hair.
I was wondering the same thing. I have 3A curls and I dry most of it before using the Revlon one. I never use my dryer brush wet and haven’t had any noticeable damage
Her hair isn't damaged, it's heat trained, which is very different. Also, her hair is still pretty curly, it just doesn't look that way when it's wet. A lot of wet hair looks wavy when it's wet but is very curly when dry. Her hair straightens more easily because she uses the right products for what she does to her hair. She trims it regularly, uses conditioning treatments and heat protectant every time. She takes very good care of her hair, and at the first sign of anything wrong, she takes corrective measures.
I feel the same way about WISHING for Dyson to offer a larger round brush attachment (I'm hoping so since they invested in the larger curling attachments).
I think the whole point of this tool is for you to dry your hair with the dryer before straightening with the brush to avoid heat damage, but looks like you skipped that whole step
This one available at Costco for 40 $ and there are other tools available too in this set . I didn't buy because I was not sure about tlthat this will work .. I'll for sure buy this one .
Please, let me know how is it long term. I am looking for something around that price. But I saw your 2022 and 2021 best tools video and did not see this one. I want something to protector my hair.
I`ve noticed that smaller brushes like this one, have fewer bristles (compared to the original Revlon and others). And makes me wonder if that somehow will damage fine, thin hair.
This looks great!!! Happy new year!!! I think this will benefit me since my hair is shorter but I’m not sure. Please do a comparison with revlon!!! That will be very interesting!!!
Thank you for doing this video. I have the revlon brush but it gets really really hot. I’ll go order this on target.com and do a pickup. Your hair looks beautiful!!
I have both and I love this one. I really love the revlon, too (it’s very easy and fast to use, but I worry about the very high heat/shockingly fast dry time over time. I’d rather have my hair look meh every day and stay healthy- but that’s not a preference everyone shares, and it does result in a drowned-rat aesthetic occasionally). Target also has a pink Knot Doctor with a paddle brush and Amazon has a purple Knot Doctor with a larger round brush (Revlon size, slightly different bristle layout) and a really great, somewhat innovative “volume pick.” I’ve tried them and they work really well, too. I wish they would begin selling the different “heads” separately from the dryer part, but this tool is still a good deal. And I’ve had dryers stop working, then had to wear my hair half dried enough times that I’m not too upset about extra dryer barrels. When target has a 15% off Connor tools sale, these dryer brushes are $33.99.
@@lilygarbanzo5396 Thank you for the information! I ordered the pink paddle brush for my daughter after I purchased this at Target using the 15% off coupon. I like it. It truly does not get as hot as the Revlon. I had no idea Amazon had a Knot Dr. with a larger barrel. I agree, these are better priced than the Revlon even though the Revlon is pretty amazing (we have two in the house). Thank you for replying to my post.
Hey, I just bought this today and used it, idk what I’m doing but it came out super straight I couldn’t get the ends to curl and my hairs a bit frizzy and no volume at all. I used a heat protectant spray, am I supposed to use something else too in order to get it to have some volume ? I’m horrible at styling my hair usually I just curl it with a straightener and that’s it lol
Hi, how does this compare to the hot tools hot air brush? Looking at getting one of these two for my mother in law for Christmas. She has fine, thin, frizzy, long hair. It’s coloured blonde.
I actually searched this product lol. It does come w one more detachment which is the root volumizer. And of course without anything attached is obviously a blow dryer too. It comes in Blue which is this smaller one and a Purple which is a bigger size like the original Revlon one step.
I hope someone can help me, I am looking for a brush, I wanted to buy the revlon but I read very bad reviews and now I look for one that lasts longer and also does not need enough hair, any recommendation? thank you:)
If i took a shot every time you said “revlon” I’d die lol. Jokes aside, I came here to see someone actually use this bc i wasn’t getting a great result with mine, but i was also not doing it correctly lol
I kind of still want this even though it's smaller bc I like the detachable brush. They have a purple Knot DR that comes with a volumizing pik attachment too and I wonder if the brush on that one is bigger. Kim from BudgetGlamBabe reviewed it recently.
