I have been at home for almost a year now... I'm a student and I work from home part-time, so I literally never leave the house. I can't wear any of my favourite clothes. I wear the same, comfy clothes every day. I never get ready, because I don't want to "waste" my products. Sometimes I play with eyeshadow, but that's it. I have been feeling awful for almost a year now. And sometimes I forget that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Sometimes I forget that everyone in the whole world feels the same way. It's insane. Hang in there... ❤️

I do my makeup and get dressed up every single day to help my son with distance virtual learning and then on the weekends just to relax and play Legos or UNO with my son. I think that’s what has helped me not be depressed, because my hubby is a COVID nurse & we haven’t kissed nor hugged him since March. My son and I miss being with him, but we know he’s saving lives so we comfort each other.. Here in Texas the pandemic is also horrible & it makes it worse for us because of my hubby’s job, but we still stay positive. I’m sorry you’re dealing with all those emotions. Hope you feel better soon. ❤️🙏🏻

Thank you for using the sponge that comes with the powder! Every video I’ve seen uses either a brush or a beauty blender and I was not impressed. Now I think I might actually buy it!

I don’t like to wear makeup a lot with the way this last year was and how depressed i was but I will still do brows and mascara and gloss and sometimes liner to feel like a person. I try to get dressed or I’ll wear the same pajamas for days. When I work I make it a point to do my hair and face so I can actually use my products and feel cute

I love this eye look with your (totally adorable) sweater! Especially with the dark hair. It’s hard to figure ourselves out when we’re stuck in this endless isolation all day. I still continue to do my makeup usually but in December after Christmas I started going makeup free to fix my skin so now I don’t wear it at all. I’m trying to go another couple of weeks because my skin looks so much better. And after I start wearing makeup again I’m only going to wear it on the weekends and holidays to keep my skin this good.

my dry skin don't really like the sound of a powder foundation but it did smooth out the skin nicely! also just take it easy on yourself if you need more time to be back on social media , we will be here! 💕

I've been interested in the Fenty powder foundation, the pandemic has made me hit pan on my Jcat one. I like my Jcat one though, which is cheaper, so maybe I don't need the Fenty? I've been enjoying doing my makeup, I've had extra fun with it since I have more time for it. I'm glad to see you in my feed and I'd be down to see videos of other things you're passionate about.

Hey Jes, love the sweater. My Grandma taught me to crochet years ago so I think I could do it again. The clothes you make though are really pretty. Do you go by a pattern with colors indicate or how does that work? So glad to see you back on. I subscribed to you a few years ago. One day, you popped up again. I put on makeup for fun everyday even if its at night right before showering for creativity sake. I love art and doing creative stuff but after doing traditional artsy stuff im left with a bunch of crap but with makeup i can be creative and then be able to just wash it off and not be left with a bunch of stuff.

I haven't worn makeup in so long. Every now and then I wear some foundation. I don't even dress up. I wear comfty clothes and pajamas all day. I don't even bother with my hair. My Husband is not here with me until March. I don't go anywhere or do nothing so I just haven't been getting dolled up. Anyways.. You are gorgeous girl as always!
