I know the point of the video is the new flatbed, and it looks amazing. But I can never get past how great that truck sounds, it’s just so good. Great job Ben and students, it’s awesome.
You did really good aligning the hitch ball up to your gooseneck trailer. Here's a handy way to align it time afer time. Paint two vertical white stripes 1/2 inch apart down the gooseneck tube. The unpainted space is on the centerline of the tube. Imagine the blade of a rear gun sight. Take a lead plumber's weight and attach an old fiberglass CB radio antenna to one edge of the weight. What you want is a weighted portable rod you can place in front of your gooseneck ball (on the headache bar side of the ball). When backing up just sight and align that rod between the two vertical lines on the hitch. Helps to paint the rod a contrasting color. This aide will assist aligning your sunken gooseneck ball to the hitch both laterally and distance wise. Once you're hooked up, just stow away your front sight for future use.
