Wanna be more impressed? The Ultra's torque was tested to the max and here r the results... With the old 5 amp battery cell, the Ultra managed to bust bolts all the way up to 1,900 ft lbs of torque. It wasn't able to loose torque at 2,000 ft lbs.! Very impressive, now once the battery was switch to the Tesla 21700 8 amp battery, it was able to knock out the bolt loose at 2,000 ft. Lbs. of torque but failed to loose at 2,100 ft lbs. Maybe the 12 amp battery would've torque loosen at 2,100 ft lbs easily?!!! Im soo speechless 😶 Rated at 1,400 ft pbs torque but maxing out at 2,000 ft lbs of nut busting torque! This Hercules Ultra is fphkn' build like a tank! And has the 5 yr warranty to back it up!!!

I am 100% with you buddy. I watched the same video where he broke 1900 ft lbs bolts and then went out and purchased it myseslf. Another channel that is really good is the torquetestchannel. He has raw data that is pretty cool.

It's the heavy truck tests where these tools shine! Here's the Ridgid High Torque doing the same thing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XOUKGOOZAtI.html Would love to see them go head to head

It’s come a long way on battery and half inch anvil tools. The 899 struggled could break a properly torqued 33mm nut, but struggled to fasten them back on tight enough. Also socket wear. I think I’d look into getting a 3/4 adapter and opting for a 3/4 size socket to prevent wear and tear 1/2 sockets receive on the high end.

Yes they have come a long way and yes a 1/2" to 3/4" adaptor was used on that 33mm socket. Thank You very much for watching the 🎥 and your comment.💯👍😎

Hey great review. I bought the ultra torque a couple of weeks ago. Have a question you may be able to answer. On mine, on auto mode with no socket on it. In reverse the rpms are slower than in forward speed. Is it the same on yours? Or I was thinking I got a defective unit. On speeds 1 to 3, I can see and feel the low medium and high speeds. But on auto the speed is slower in reverse than on 3 setting. Thanks.
@dailydoseoftoolreviews
@dailydoseoftoolreviews Год назад
You should have more brake away torque in reverse than in forward so yes it would be slower in reverse. Thank You for the question 💯👍😎

Great video but is there really no one that has 1/2 dr 1 5/16 or 1/2 dr 33mm sockets lol damn good comparison though

So......did I just see someone tighten lugs with an impact on a truck too. Which is never recommended. I'll warn you now that Hercules can punch up to over torqued in about 5 seconds do not do this. About 4.0 seconds flat will het you very close to 400-490 but it still varies.

My friend that was a certified mechanic using the impact wrench on a big rig and a trailer dolly it is perfectly ok.

@@dailydoseoftoolreviews for his shop his rules. But we had an accident at ours where they over torqued the studs and ended up stretching. Was a much nastier impact though too I say they put well over a 1000 foot pounds. Had to use a small gun ever since and a torque wrench after to get em just right.

@@jordanalexander615 The Video we did was to show what that Hercules was able to do and that you don't need to break the bank to get a more than descent tool Brother and your right, safety first and I should have mentioned not to do this home. Thank You for your comment Brother 👍💯

Also have to factor in that milwaukee is only 18v vs the majority so it still pretty impressive. If milwaukee have 20v like everyone else it would top them all. But I'm looking to buy the blue ultra torque.
@dailydoseoftoolreviews
@dailydoseoftoolreviews Год назад
Thank You for the comment 👍 but you should know that 18v and 20v is the same. Power tools that say 20v really run at 18v, 20v being the peek and running at 18v. 👍😎
@ethandonivan5175
@ethandonivan5175 Год назад
In other places DeWalt and many other 20v (MAX) tools are marketed as 18v. All the battery's charge to 20 volts but quickly drops to the normal running voltage of 18
@hustleeveryday5852
@hustleeveryday5852 Год назад
18v and 20v are exactly the same, it's just the way different companies rate their voltage , even though its identicle. It's like the Makita that rates their batteries at 40v. You can have an 18v battery that is equal to or more powerful than a 40v if the amp hours are higher on the 18v.

With much higher voltage you can run a smaller more power hungry motor which is nice. But the difference isn't that big.

I've been running my "harbor freight" ultra torque at work (heavy equipment) for 6 or 7 months now, loud and proud. Ill put it up against snap on and matco any day of the week. In the end i payed less and it performs just as good, if not better than both of them. One mechanics ego just couldn't bear to buy one so he bought a used milwaukee instead for $350 with one battery and charger. Makes me laugh when i bought mine with two 8ah batteries and charger for $300 on black friday.
