We really need gear that's slightly better than barrows. Barrows is SOOO easy you can just do it with Ibans blast. So annoying to see more mid gear below barrows.
@anannoyedpanda blood moons str bonus is as good as bandos top and bottom str bonus wise and if you're iron an do cg it will easily pay for the repairs
I don’t think they want to devalue barrows because it’s so great for new accounts and new players. For many it’s their first ever “drop” and that kinda dopamine hit can keep a player going for longer

@@limpyleg1570honestly, apart the fact it comes from a useless boss, the wand should be 2nd best in slot after the tumeken's shadow to fight olm mage hand. The lance and the dhcb are 2nd in their style respectively. Right now that wand is totally useless as it is
Believe it or not, very good for low to mid lvl accs considering the 10% damage and dragonbane effect for slayer tasks. It's just useless for high lvl accs. I guess more effective for irons who can't buy tridents early
@@straight2thepoint790oh no the Ironman is seething about new content. I was able to semi afk 15 aldarium in an hour at 35k herblore xp. So these potions are not hard to get and end up being like 3 mil gp/hr yesterday when the secondary was at 200k.
@@danielmcguire7344 .. his point is that they're too expensive to be usable. 200k for a single potion is too expensive to be usable outside of super niche situations or rich players afking slayer xp or something Doesnt matter if you are an ironman or not. I dont have an opinion either way, if they stay expensive then i can make a lot of gp leveling herblore, if they become cheap then slayer becomes even more afk. I win either way.
As much as it sucks the longer the game goes on we will all get “impacted” in this way from updates. First person to hit 200m slay was in dec 2015, at 40k slay/h, best method was Abby demons in the tower I guess cause no kourends. Not complaining I love the updates
Can you have a full inventory of potion and the pre-pot device at the same time. So like it allow you to like double the number of potions you can have in one inventory?
wouldn't it make more sense to carry the prepot device with you to GWD or any other PVM encounter and just chug when you needed to pot up again? This could save so many inventory spaces for soloing Zilyana for example...
3:50 With the combat update it doesn’t matter if you’re using fire surge, if you have fire surge/blast etc. unlocked, each of that tiers’ spell deals the same amount of damage (so you can save those precious 10 fire runes aka 40gp a cast!) S T O N K S (also saves a slot unless you’re using them for ice demon)
@@sylvariatzaka oh no absolutely not worth it, especially considering brewing down will take it off autocast so that by itself sounds horrible as wel haha, but it’s a nice general thing to know for especially lower level accounts, you can just start with mind runes or chaos (with gaunts) and an air staff and deal fire spell amounts of damage ^^
I don’t understand why they’re making this area mid level content. Like I’m supposed to get tele’d to lumby, farm 25 quests, then jump into this content that gives niche gear as a maximum reward? I feel like this whole continent was created for snowflake accounts.
Imagine grinding out a prepot device for 20 hours, just to wait at the door for your friends to finish prepotting. Saving 1 minute a day for such a grind sounds dumb to me.
@@chestergardner300 if youre only doing 2-3kc trips, does the prepot even make a difference? Does it make you go from 1 kill to 3 kills? No lol, doesnt do shit. Just carry the pots in your inventory and pot while walking there, you'll still get 3 kills. You only lose inventory space but its like 3 slots you lose who cares. What the prepot does is provide quality of life, streamlines the gameplay a bit. But it doesn't save time

yeah and shuffle points around a bit. As it stands I cant train without getting a ton of unneeded points, since at lower levels you dont get a lot op potions with the Lye component
I mean we told them repeatedly that as designed it was effectively a steel dragon killer wand, but they were determined to make a low level slayer item .... that comes from content the target audience wouldn't even be doing
@@Mr_G_VGC personally I got my fire cape before I really started slayer, and this boss was sold as "for people who already have their fire cape" so I think it fits. I don't think it's good or worth grinding for young accts but it does make sense and shouldn't be much better.

they stated it when creating it and ppl still voted it in. they werent even gunna do a dragonhunter wand till babies on reddit cried for it. so they made it 5 tick(which nerfs its 50% damage boost) and require standard book
I wouldn't get use to this 6:57. RS3 has the the same potion but it's called Prayer renewal. Redemption now has a 1 minute cooldown because of Prayer renewals. OSRS is likely to get the same cooldown now too
I find it funny how OSRS players love to shit on RS3, but Jagex keeps copying stuff from that game with every update they do. Overloads outside raids are almost a guarantee at this point.
0:44 the man was in the WILDERNESS on a Hardcore with his wife at the Iron Bar Spawn and is complaining because they got killed and lost their Hardcore status. If that is how you go out and lose your Hardcore status honestly you weren't going to keep that Hardcore status much longer anyways... Like seriously if that's how you lose your HCIM Status you would have ended up losing it to the wizards outside of Varrock or you would have lost it doing slayer before even getting 20 slayer. They were HCIM's they should have been A LOT more aware of their surroundings ESPECIALLY while in the WILDERNESS LMFAO
Great release video as always, personally I am a fan of content that isn't necessarily part of a typical account journey but I get where you're coming from. I don't mind inexpensive but unique rewards, and some of the new items like the wand are beautiful imo. Now, when tome of air!
wand feels useless. maybe it should have an anti dragonfire ability. or a special attack that makes you immune/partly immune to dragonfire for a limmited amount of time

I don't think the prayer potion is as good as everyone thinks it will be. It's all that prayer over 8 minutes... Instead of just getting the prayer points as soon as you need them.
