I bought gipfelsturm, 1.5, and put it on backhand on a butterfly innerforce. This pimple rubber is amazing, and in combination with innerforce gives me lots of control and a great variety of shots

After switching from LPs to MPs some 7-8 years ago I tried a lot of different MPs and SPs on my BH. Recently I have been playing with Tibhar Speedy Soft DTecs for 2 years, first 1.5, then 1.8 mm. Then I changed to Spinlord Gipfelsturm, at the beginning on a 1.5 mm sponge, but after some 6 months I switched to 1.8 mm. I used this rubber for 2 years and it suited me very well. But I have a very aggressive playstyle, rely less on wobbling or sinking effects (though it's a nice bonus) and lacked a bit of power. This season I changed again to Spinlord Keiler 1.8 mm. It generates less pronounced effects, though they still exist. it's harder for me to play push, but I can attack better and play better active blocks, for passive blocks these rubbers are quite similar. Each rubber has its advantages and disadvantages, I haven't decided which one I'm going to play in the future, but I think it will be Keiler.

I will likely be testing the two Keiler rubbers in the foreseeable future

Please try the DMS SPINFIRE too. Max thickness, I heard it's revolutionary short pips

Thanks for the great review! If we compare Gipfelsturm and Gepard which one is more insensitive to heavy spin on serves? And also you've mentioned that Gipfelsturm is capable of producing some wobbling spin-inverted blocks. What about Gepard in terms of deception? Spinlord says we shouldn't expect to get any wobbling effects... does that mean it's not deceptive at all or can we still occasionally have some spin reversal?

I have been playing for five years with Spinlord short or medium pips like Gipf and Keiler and therefore relied on deceptive balls and sinking effects...But I need to be active all the time and I'm not...I want to test Waran and Wyvern to generate more backspin and commit less errors in counter attack and blocks. Would you say you commit less unforced errors with such rubbers? ...Is it more efficient for you to depend on speed and variation rather than on deception only!?....Have you been tempted to keep the Gipf ? I was wondering how long it would take to adjust to these faster rubbers but I definitely need a more consistent game.

Hi - I would definitively recommend Waran or Waran II to you. W is a little more disruptive than W2, and probably the next logical step for you coming from MPs. I have used W2 since ~2018 and haven't looked back, though I will say, that I might give Gipfelsturm another go. Gipf is serious disruptive, and allows for aggressive play, but it is less controllable than W2. Which would be the grippyest, short pimples you tested or know?? If they're lighter it's a plus. I use a viscaria
@ThePongProfessor

Probably Butterfly Impartial XS, then Spinlord Waran and Victas Spinpips

@@juanmanuelrizzo1165 my GF has Vivas Curl P3V (NOT the one with an A) With a 1.5mm sponge it works a lot like an inverted but still behaves different Hard to control perfectly, but had insane options Maybe try 1.0mm The BTY feint long 2 1.1mm works great for this as well The pimple from Spinlord, I think it's Blitzschlag can work well with 1.0mm

To your first question, If u can control tensor short pimples, the Yasaka Rakza PO is pretty inverted alike From Der Materialspezialist U have Spinfire and Firestorm I'm certain you don't want 2.0mm from any of those if you're playing an offensive Blade It's insanely fast even on my Def+

@@timlpld9784 which one would be better for occasionally brushing the ball. Aka more dwell time. Thanks!!

Waran 2 are the better short pips imo. Gipfelsturm are the most interesting medium pips that I have played with.
