The directions you were pulling the 2 layers would have had a similar result with flour and water. Every pull was against the strongest hold of even the weakest glues. I am sure Soudal would not be very impressed and would have wanted to see you actually attempting to separate the materials. Which of course would have happened but at what effort and damage to the layers.
Good day sir . Trust you well. To make sure I give you an accurate answer I would like to know if you would be using the spray to apply to a foam material or would you like to know if the product itself turns into foam while spraying? Thank you
@@skrawn1342 Good day sir. I am in the process of advising your query with a representative from Soudal to provide you with an accurate answer. I will respond to you shortly. Thanks
@@skrawn1342 Hi sir. The Soudal Contact Adhesive Spray will unfortunately not be sufficient for your application but Soudal recommended their PVA wood adhesive D3 but they do recommend testing as they don't know the density, so that will be best. They sent me test samples and bonds well. Thanks
It's not really helpful to only show shear forces - it will require a huge amount of force to pull the pieces apart like that. It would have been much more informative to see what happens if you tried to lift the pieces away from each other.
