This looks exactly like the Speed Queen wringer washer minus the stainless steel tub that's in the Speed Queen model. Speed Queen might've made this for Montgomery Ward.

I had the same kind of thing happen with that 45° adapter I have on the back hose spigot. Mine looked more like a "calcification". Something in the water is not agreeing with the cheap China metals. Fortunately, I don't need those 45° adapters anymore, video to come soon. I'm wondering if the cheapie plastic ones might be a better option. Any water in those, and they'll break over the winter, so best to disconnect completely. Also thought perhaps you want to rig a PVC water line for the machines, tee off for each machine and put a valve there. Or go even cheaper and leave the valve out, as I'm sure you shut the garden hose off when you're done in the garage. You could probably do the whole thing in PVC. To blow out, set all the machines to fill, which the garage should be able to handle in terms of power, and apply air. That rubber coupler setup on the drain line is ingenious, so you can fold it up when not in use. The machine performed flawlessly, the turnover in that machine, there's no messing around. It's got one job to do and because it was made long ago before these "kids" we have today, they actually know how to work. I don't know that I could use a machine like that as a daily driver, especially with the wringer, but back when it came out, it was a huge timesaver. But I found a channel, that guy's got a vintage Maytag wringer washer, you may wish to check out. Interesting character, you'll know what I mean when you watch. The channel is called Load of Wash.

Wow, it looks great. I was going to get one of these. They selling a speed queen same exact machine. Looks like fun to have.

RU-vid must be showing me this to appreciate my modern machine that washes and dries about 6-7 times that many towels with the push of a button. Who's got time to be wringing out clothes in 2024 for goodness sakes?

The rollers on the wringer are still in good shape ! They usually disintegrated after some time.

My grandmother had one of these the agitator was a little different.
