I have been using the splitender for 5 years my hair comes to my lower back its the only hair cut that i have had for the 5 years it has really helped me to grow my hair

The one you have is NOT the new version of the Split Ender. It is a knock off. Use at your own risk. The original Split Ender is really good.

I would love to try this out! I have so many split ends yikes! But I love using the Hairitage split end rescue cream and leave in conditioners, which I feel makes my hair look healthier :)

If you start it so high up , won’t it just create a bunch of uneven layers down the hair shafts?

No, it only takes 1/4 inch off the ends of each individual hair strand that stands up into the blade housing. Kind of hard to explain in a RU-vid comment, but if you watch videos of how it works, you'll understand. This trimmer invention is truly a godsend!
