Hey Emily. I just wanted to say thank you! Last Friday I got my nail license in the state of Texas and I actually started nails last year because of you. Seeing you have so much fun with it and not take it so seriously made me less intimidated to try it out. And I noticed not only did I like it, I loved it! Now it’s a year later and I have my own business and every day I love my job. Thank you for making nails fun and inspiring me. I have health issues so it’s hard to me to keep a 9-5 job and being a nail technician is the perfect job for me. I have tremors so I though being a nail artist just wasn’t possible for me and honestly watching you gave me strength to try. I’m so happy I found your channel. I wake up every day excited and I honestly can’t thank you enough.

I've been telling people for years to check hot rod/lowrider paint websites for larger quantities of solvent proof glitter & pigments! Way cheaper than nail supply sites. My nails are also weak af and no you're not weird I actually put gel on them with the purpose to keep them from breaking or tearing. I'm taking magnesium and iron supplements for two months now and my nails have become so hard! I can't wait to file off the still squishy bits but that'll take another two months of growing 😂

When you find your real nails lifting from your nail bed, even if it's only a little bit, its better to remove the lifting by trimming it right back to where its comfortable and then apply nail extensions on top. If you leave the lifting, any extension you put on top when knocked even slightly from everyday tasks, will act like a zipper and the lifting of your natural nail will get worse and go further and further back to the cuticle. I had this on my thumb and it took months to grow out. By trimming off the natural nail that lifted, I prevented it from going further back.

Second on the nail strength with gel. Whenever I have gel polish or polygel/nails on, my natural nails don't break off nearly as much and are a lot stronger.

My old nail tech uses Valentino, and if I go back to nail techs, I only want Valentino on my nails. I love their acrylics. It was a combo of her work and their products. My old tech finally became an ambassador for Valentino. I'm very happy for her.

Oooh the nails came out so pretty! I am just trying Valentino now too and so far so good. I also just ran out of young nails monomer and had to use kiara sky and it smelled soooo strong. I think the YN monomer might be the go to from now on. It smells the least and performs well.

Oh lord, I hope his migraines get better. 🙏 I get them alot too and nothing has been a fix all for them. And they last for days... ugh. I have not yet tried the botox shots, but have tried handfuls of meds, script and street. Nothing really works all the time or everytime. Happy Anniversary!

I have he same problem with my real nails lifting off the beds of my nails, and I found if I keep my nails done they tend to stay better as well. This set turned out great!

The tiny black balls are called caviar beads.And the green and orange semi circles probably glow in the dark. You should hold it to a light for a bit and try it out

Valentino is GREAT for nudes/core colors..10/10 for that! BUT their colored acrylics are like 3/10. They marble and have chunks of unmixed pigment powder and I have came across that issue with several different colors. I really don’t like the colored powders but their other products and like I said the core colors are amazing!

About time I see a comment actually addressing the acrylic she used here. I cringed hard during her application process. It got chunky a lot and the marble attempt was horrendous. I don’t think it was her fault. It seems like that acrylic has to be worked very carefully. It looks like it’s too much work.

These came out so cute, but just some advice from one girly to another I would Pat the acrylic into place rather that immediately swiping. Also let the bead sit on you brush for a few seconds before putting it on your nail. ❤ hope it helps
