I make my test candles wickless. It is more convenient and also in expensive this way. I hope my take on scent throw and fragrance load helps someone.

Thank you for this video it is super helpful, I have burnt my first 2 wickless testers today and there will be many more before finding the right one. One question though, how do you go about removing the wick after the first burn?
@JusNik

oh man sorry about that! I use a pliers to remove the wicks after I finished

Thanks for sharing! Opinion please. Interested in only making soy wax melts and 4 oz. tins. Newbie here. Felt over whelmed with straight sided glass jar adhesion/spot situation, (a bit of a perfectionist). instead of giving up on this newly learned craft, decided to only utilize the above sized tins & clamshells. Do you feel its a waste of energy/money to only offer the above? Thank you.

no actually. there are shops that do really well that only offer wax melts. so wax melts and tins only are a good way to go. especially wax melts. I honestly thought of doing just wax melts because they are way less frustrating and there is a market for them.

Hi, I think comparing these you should have the same amount of wax in each jar. The lower the amount of wax the hotter it will burn. Great video.
@JusNik

True! But they are also different FO so my comparison is wayyyy off lol and thank you

Hi thank you for this video! Question I am finding that I have amazing hot throw BUT towards the end (about 1/3 of the candle wax left) my hot throw becomes very weak. Is this because I am using the wickless method and once I stick down the wick it won’t happen or is there another reason?
