A couple these I was tempted to test out in our Wish review video, so I'm glad you were able to see what they were like in person! i would use the clear enclosure for superworms or mealworms i would silcone or clear tape around the edges thou and hot glue screen onto the open top area for air flow and silcone or clear tape over the vent holes on sides. and the wooden obe would be good for a baby lizard begining tank its perfect size for baby geckos

Best wish experience: after few months I didn't received my necklace (a cheap one, like 3€), so I asked for a refund and received it! A week later the necklace arrived ^^

I recently got some reptile vining plants and I'm really pleased. They have the suction cup in the back ( and it works) and are just like the pricier ones at pet stores. No regrets.

Have you seen Lori Torrini’s sky hides? She puts some hides up, attached to the top of enclosures for snakes. I could see using the plastic one as a humid hide that’s up off the ground to increase usable footprint.

I would use the broken hide pieces to decorate the small enclosures for jumping spiders. Cut a piece of plastic to the size of the missing lid on the clear enclosure and ether set it on top or use hinges to stick it to the enclosure.

Use the wood box to display some cool animal figurines. The plastic box looks junky and I don’t know what it could possibly be used for except as an invisible underwater shelf in an aqua scape. Honestly I don’t know what the purpose of wasting the plastic to make that awful thing was for but the wooden enclosure would make a beautiful display cabinet for little field guides and miniature geodes. You can even add lights.

You could use the clear enclosure for plants, maybe. And the wooden one possibly for feeder bugs? That’s all I could think for something so small and not sealed.

For The wood and acrylic box since the lid won't go fully over it and I wouldn't put an animal in that anyway other than an insect I would suggest you put plants in it They could both most likely hold dirt and the wooden one would probably look good with maybe some succulents since they don't need a lot of moisture and for the acrylic one maybe start an herb garden and you can feed your bearded dragon some herbs

I had a rare, pretty good experience the only time I ordered from wish. I got a pet nail grinder for around $10 that was very low power but perfect for my beardie's nails + came with extra sanding belts, and a digital otoscope that was $12, came with all sorts of attachments and was definitely worth at least $20....but then I lost it. I also bought some silicone fingertip pet toothbrush sleeves that I haven't tried out yet but seemed fine

I've gotten a couple things on Wish that were actually really nice. One is a tiny keychain plush of a soot sprite from spirited away. The eyes are a smidge jank, but for the I think... $3 I spent on it. I love it. The other thing is this nifty little tool I got in a two pack for a couple bucks that is for removing hair from your hair brush. Love thing things. Most disappointing thing was definitely clothes. Never buy clothes on wish.

MY BEST WISH EXPERIENCE: A set of stickers, random cartoon stickers, and weird pins like "If you can read this you're too close" and "Expert at social distancing" I also got a cheap hoodie, it was worth it so I could experiment with bleach art, it was great because the beach art was bad, but the hoodie was terrible, so in general, it improved. Besides that, if I find something on Wish, I look for a similar item on eBay and Amazon and try to find reviews for it, often I find it at a comparable price with reasonable shipping.

I got a few of those bulbs on eBay at some point. Interesting that yours is really hot, mine were actually not very hot 🤷, but I used them as a secondary basking spot about 6 inches away. The bulb looks extra bright because it has no cover over the halogen lol

Put a jumping spider in the wooden enclosure, may have to make the inside waterproof but that's not hard if u need to , I don't know anything about jumping spiders. I just think they are super cute.

I think the small wood viv is esthetically really nice, maybe keep a jumping spider or something small off that nature and they clear one would do well for the same purpose if it didn't have that whole missing piece. Is it possible that part was missing? Really the wood viv is the only thing I actually like for small things but rather expensive ❗

The main issue with UVB bulbs that are questionable brands is that they can put out UVC as well, which is not good for animals, from what I understand, although that my be exclusive to the LED ones…

That's what I was thinking... luckily there are these little cards that are supposed to turn green if there is UVC present. Tyler probably has one and can check that out too

100% right, that and the UVB they do emit is not in the appropriate part of the spectrum that is known for producing the precursors to vitamin D3. They are just a halogen lamp without the safety glass that blocks any wavelengths below the visible part of the spectrum.

I glad that you did this video. I have been looking at the small uvb lights but on Amazon and I would probably guess that they are no better than wish. It's all pretty much gimmicks from what I've seen and it helps to see that I am not the only one thinking it so thank you for doing this type of video it really helps.

I would be careful about getting any uvb bulb from anyone outside of the major trusted vendors. The risk for poor, inappropriate uvb or even worse uvc is more than I am willing to take.

@@Silver_wind_1987_ unless the company is testing the bulb with full spectrum analysis, like arcadia, vivtech and some other big companies do I would really be careful, especially since a standard uvb meter, like a solarmeter 6.5 wont pick up all the uvc that those poor quality bulbs put out, and some of those levels are high enough permanently harm or kill your reptiles. It's one of the reasons why we need to be so careful and not purchase any old product.

i dont recomend getting heating or lighting products form wish because you dont know if the bulb contains uvc.

I ordered a bunch of sterling silver jewelry 12 items for $60. All I ever received was a weird suction cup thing with something that looked like either a mushroom or possibly Christmas tree. I could not determine. Wish said I received all my order. Horrible. Will never use them again.

5:30 and 7:12 what a nice display, but not for $44. There is nothing living I have that this will work for, It will only be useful as a display for a tarantula molt. I was thinking Isopod display, but you still need a humid side. Unless you put in a dish to for humid substrate and the rest could be dry leaves. I have 1/2 dry leaves and 1/2 humid and my isopods are doing well after many failed attempts.

Actually Tyler that reptile hide that came broken is not safe at all 😬 they have very sharp parts due to a cheap molding process. They have known to cut soft little reptiles like leopard geckos. Proper brands atleast make sure the seams are completely smooth and hidea do not have these sharp edges.
