Covergirl soft mink is my all time fav! It was a fav of my mothers and she’s been gone almost 9 years. I still use it several times a week because of her. ❤️🥰❤️
I have quite a few high-end foundations but when I am having a day of mostly Zoom calls, I prefer to use cheaper stuff. I discovered that using L’Oreal Lumi under Sephora Best Skin Ever literally rivals any of my higher-end stuff. It is now my every day go-to. I use the one you showed and I have a tinted pinkish one. Both work great.
Good idea! Also if you ever see it, snag B.Tan Sun Safe AF body sunscreen, it’s in a big hot pink tube $7.99 and that stuff be GLOWY!! When I wear it I wanna prance down a beach in slow motion
For the longest time my son called yesterday "the day back behind". It was so cute and my husband and I still call it that sometimes just because it's adorable lol.
Also, I think it might look a bit better if she started applying towards the end of the brow and got some of the product off there first and then did the front so the end her brows were darker
the Almay Healthy Hue Blush-amazing, the most ethereal amount of glow, no highlighter needed and never looks sparkly. The L’oreal magic perfecting base primer is amazing. Jen Phelps got me on that one. Emily Noel always raves about the Maybelline Brow Fast Sculpt and Lumi Glotion.
She is the absolute best! You will love their vlogs on her husbands channel, TylerTravelstv. They just started a Disney podcast too. Even if you’re not a Disney fan it’s so fun to listen to them anyway. They have the best energy together! 💛
It really is. That’s my second favorite drugstore foundation! It lasts so well! Even in the summer on my oily skin. It gets dewy, but doesn’t break down at all. I love it!
@@Hippidippimahmthey truly are the best lipsticks so much more moisturizing than loreal. I’m scared they’re going out of business and the lipsticks won’t be around anymore :(
I love these kinds of videos! I feel like the classic drugstore items aren’t usually as pricey as the newer finds but they’re just as good, if not better than the new releases!
Everything looked so pretty on you. Loved looking at the top of your head when you were searching for a brush! 🤣🤣🤣 I want to tell you that last night I watched an 8 or 9 year old video of you and Tyler at Disney. Your skipping and singing and acting so carefree brought such joy to my heart. Your videography is SO much better now, quality and sound. It's all so much more perfected & sophisticated today! 👍🏻💕
I love watching their older videos from time to time. Go watch their engagement video sometime, if you haven't seen it. Jess is adorable, and she sounds about 12 years old, her voice was so much higher and thinner back then (not a bad thing, just a thing!) It's been a privilege and so fun to watch her (and Tyler) grow and mature before our eyes, get married, become parents, run successful businesses, and everything else! I just adore them -- it's a weird thing because they don't really know me, but we know them! (the parts they show online, of course). Jess has mentioned/mused about thinking about becoming a therapist someday, and she would be AMAZING at it (you would, Jessica!!!), but I'd miss the videos if they stopped them. :)
@@womanofacertainage5892 I watched both the engagement and wedding vlogs/videos. Even though it was only 8/9 years ago, Jessica and Tyler looked like teenagers. Even their voices sounded young. They're truly a joy to watch! They bring back my own youth when watching and I'm sure I'm older than Benita. I want to be her sister. I could babysit Gigi and Felicity with Blue Nana! Simply put, they're just a fun, fun beautiful family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’d love to see you do a big bright full on colored eye look!! You always look so beautiful and so put together with your single shadow looks but I’d just love to see you with a pile of color!!!❤❤
Maybeline Sterling griege is my favorite, then nude glow and the glow down. I have extra just in case. Also the cover girl blush in true plum is great if you want that purple mauve color that was trendy awhile back, but it’s very wearable.
Love that you got pink in the afternoon again because I bought that colour because of you back in the day 😊 the look turned out so great and I’m definitely thinking about getting that eyeshadow it’s just so pretty 😍
My trick for lower lash line is that I use a clean spoolie to separate my lashes after mascara, then I use the small amount that's on the spookie to apply the lightest amount of mascara on lower lashes- and only one coat. Always the perfect, subtle amount. I think the full amount straight out of the tube is just too much and gives that Twiggy look!
Loved this video!! I second the Emily Noel and Jess videos to start my Saturday excitement. Great video. I would imagine the soft mink blush would be absolutely beautiful as a single eyeshadow look. Happy Saturday!
WOW! I just went to Walmart and found the Maybelline Nude Glow shadow and the Covergirl Soft Mink blush and they are both soooo beautiful! Under 10$ for both products. I would love more of these videos Jess!!!
Those first two L'oréal products brought back so many memories to me! I bought both when I was a teenager. The Magic Perfecting Base was expensive for a drugstore product here in Ireland and I felt so bougie splurging on it lol I didn't even wear foundation back then so I have no idea why I thought I needed it in the first place. Ah to be young!
I love the cute things kids say, my daughters cracked me up so much, they still do! One time we bought a stationary workout bike, my oldest was reading the directions that said "helps with stamina", so she says "Mom what is staaaaameeeenaa?" LOL. Then my youngest loved eating Captain Crunch cereal but could not pronounce it and called it crap n crunch, I can't even! Great video, I'm enjoying Covergirl so much and Revlon with their classy, iconic lipsticks and blushes!
Agree on the easy everyday eyeshadow and makeup. Still love playing with color and new palettes, but eyes look amazing when I just use a bronzer for the crease and a highlighter (I have the ofra quad pan and use the shade similar to the Maybellien one you tried today).
I took your advice and just bought that shadow today. Got home. Realize it’s almost identical to my CG eye enhancers in mink. If you have one you definetley don’t need the other one. FYI.
1. I also do not look normal with lower lash mascara! Although you DO look beautiful with it. 2. As a 42 yr old, foundation has not been my friend. Nothing looks good. GIRL…. That elf one your wearing today, I tried yesterday and it is GOLD! 6 flippin bucks too?!? Between that and the nars cream bronzer I look good baby! ❤️
I 100% agree about the lower lash mascara application. It just doesn't look good on me. I see it on others and it looks fine, but it doesn't look good on me.
That lipstick colour is gorgeous on you! I have used so many tubes of Revlon lipstick over the years. It really is the best. My hg drugstore items are L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, Maybelline Tattoo Studio gel eyeliner in bold brown ( great in the waterline!) and Maybelline fit me blush in the colour nude.
That mascara looks better than most mascaras you wear, full, long, not clumpy- exactly what most want in a mascara. Does it smudge though? I haven’t worn it in years, but recall absolutely loving it. When you look down, that’s when you can tell if a mascara is really good and your lashes look thick and long and gorgeous when you look down.
Best single pan eyeshadow I think is L'Oreal's color riche 201 little beige dress, love it where several times a week is a one color and done. Great video thank you ❤️
I feel like I've been waiting for someone to ask me my drugstore hidden gems lol: 1.) Covergirl Eezy Breezy Brow 2.) Covergirl Advanced Radiance Powder 3.) LA Girl eyeliner (can't remember the name but its the combined eye and lip liner range) 4.) Wet n Wild Cloud Pout (?) listicks (the ones whose packaging looks exactly like Pat McGrath lipsticks) 5.) Physicians Formula Essence of Healthy mist (I think everyone should have this but it's near impossible to get because it's NEVER IN STOCK)
Jessica! I bought that L’Oreal magic base stuff because you recommended the heck out of it. Granted , it was a while ago & I may have been watching an older video of yours but still, I’m surprise that you remember so little about it. Back then, I got the impression you used it regularly.
Love Lumi and Elf Halo 🌟I like Elf Primer as well. Oooooo want to try that eyeshadow!!!! Maybelline products are great too!! Revlon lipsticks... I have so many. That *color* looks great honestly!!! I subscribed last night. Today this is my second video .. Xxx
I LOVE the Full N Soft! I was getting so frustrated by every other mascara that just gave me like five clumpy spider lashes. That one gives nice full lashes.
I love this. Thanks for going in store. I don’t get makeup delivered anymore even from Walmart or ulta for fear of breaking, returning, waiting. Lol. I appreciate you going to the store!
The eyeshadow single I got off of a recommendation last summer, love it!! I will put something neutral in my crease and put this Maybelline shadow on my lid and blend it up until it meshes with my crease color, kind of like u did without the other neutral shade. It’s easy and looks casual & classy, but yet a hint of girly fun with the shimmery glow in it💋💄👌🏻 I’ve also used the Full N Soft mascara for years & loved it so much! I haven’t had a tube for at least couple of years tho-fell victim to the “let’s try new stuff cause everyone is saying it’s the next best thing” phase in recent years , and was actually thinking just the other day I need to get a new tube of that again, lol! For me it is perfect about a week to 10 days after opening it. At that point I am able to build it to a more obvious level, but can still appreciate the formulas ease & softness . Btw, if I’m having a long day (3 days a week I work my full time job then go on to a part time evening job); on those days if my mascara is looking a bit “dull” this mascara will let me re coat my lashes for a fresher look hours later and it doesn’t get “weird “ on me(IMHO), it still combs right thru, thus the name Full N Soft 🤭 I’ve never known another mascara that can be refreshed hours later after initial application. Great video as per usual Jess, very intriguing options- I NEED THAT COVER GIRL BLUSH 🤩🤩💋💋💄💄❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I had a Jessie day today and shopped for fun instead of just running errands.😄I managed to pick up the Maybelline “nude glow” shadow for 78 cents at CVS thanks to a CVS app coupon. The coupon said it would not work for mono shadows, but it worked. 🎉I can’t wait to try it tomorrow. I also found and bought the Wet n Wild always nude palette at CVS. While searching for more videos about the Maybelline shadow, I found a video of you raving about it from 2017 and funny enough you also mentioned the L’Oréal face primer in the same video. If past Jessie and current Jessie loved/love a shadow, it must be a fantastic shadow. ✨Btw, I still use Wet n Wild “brulee” almost every day to help blend shadows near my crease and up towards my browbone for a seamless blend. For that purpose, it outperforms everything I own and is the perfect shade for my pale skin tone. I also bought Wet n Wild “nutty” thanks to you years ago. They are proof that makeup does not have to be expensive to perform well and look good. Thank you for all your recommendations over the years. 💜 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5kuOvYUB7ds.html
Ok so hands down the best blush of all time for me is Covergirl cheekers blush in brick rose. I own SO many blushes at all different price ranges, but that is still the blush I go back to over and over again. Loved this video! Would love to see more like this!
I love your enthusiasm with the eyeshadow and brush! I was at wal mart last weekend and totally saw these same pearl earrings - I thought of you because it would be totally something you’d like (pearls)! 🤗 great job on this video - always love your drugstore ones!
All of these products and more have been favorites for decades, I agree. However, my absolute must have is the Loreal Hydra Perfecte Loose Powder. It is SO underrated and such an amazing powder. I used it for YEARS from everyday to bridal makeup and it’s a forever staple in my arsenal.
