Once you have plugged in your power and USB cable, you’re all set. Press the power button to turn on your Pointman NUVIA printer. Wait for the ‘Ready’ message, then take a test card and place it in the front feeder. Hold both the Eject and Ribbon Set buttons simultaneously until the user mode is displayed. From there, select ‘User Mode’ by holding down the Ribbon Set button. You will see three options for Diagnosis, Language Setting, and Mode Setting. Select ‘Diagnosis’ by holding down the ribbon set button. The first option that is displayed on your screen is ‘Self Print’. One more time, hold the ribbon set button down to confirm your selection and begin the test card print job.
Once complete, your NUVIA will eject the test card from the front feeder. That’s a nice test card. When you’re finished, hold the ‘Eject’ button to return to the main interface.
