I'm riding a fireblade and this one is my beater/daily bike. Everyone who calls this bike a dullville has no heart for motorcycles. It's an awesome bike, reliable, cheap, torquey for a fat 680ccm bike with only 65hp and it's so comfortable. They can reach 200.000km easy

Thanks for this review. It's actually the only video on the whole internet, which includes driving AND reviewing this bike in a proper way and a language I am able to understand.

+Howler There might be some in russian, greek or any asian language. But I don't speak any of them. Btw... Is your father still satisfied with the bike?
@HowlerBikeVlogs

+Simon Lütt yes he still rides it and he is still satisfied with it. a great bike if you dont need a lot of power. and low cuel consumption too. he gets around 4liter per 100kms.

I think this is a great all year commuter for me in the UK where currently I'm slowly destroying my poor Blackbird. You answered all the things I wanted to know especially windscreen up and centre stand. Thank you 👍

I've never ridden it but have heard about the linked brakes and I'm glad to hear someone else isn't convinced by them either. I think distributing your braking force correctly is an important skill of the rider, and not something that you should complacently let an automated system do for you. A long time ago on my XJ600S Diversion I hit both brakes hard when someone pulled across in front of me, and the rear wheel skidded out to the side, I controlled the skid but learnt my lesson and did a lot of research on the correct braking technique afterwards, and practiced it a lot. I think this is something they don't stress enough when you take your lessons and test, and something that everyone should understand. In a way, it is an advantage for beginners unaware of this, but it also could get you into bad habits, so when you jump on a different bike it could be bad news. And for the experienced rider, I imagine you have a feeling of losing a degree of control.

Thanks for a great review. Has been a racer but when you turn 50 your preference changes. One thing I do wounder about is the two large rear side baggage storage compartments. Would it be possible for you to make a short review of them? Like opening them to show the size, comment on convinced etc? Atb/Layjay

ow yeah, i think i forgot to show that... they have like a tube connecting them trough the bike as well, behind the taillight... i'll make a vid when i get a change for it.

If you ride the NT700V from a sports motorcycle, you will indeed notice the difference the most. This is a good-natured average touring motorcycle where you are not easily surprised in unsafe situations. The NT700 Deauville is a touring motorcycle for whom touring equals relaxation of driving and a highway, you should not want to be there, then you should have the ST Pan, which are highway touring motorcycles. The NT700 feels best on the rural 2-lane roads that you choose to take a nice drive and enjoy the views and surroundings. The NT700 does not tempt you into unsafe maneuvers because it does not have the configuration to make that possible. It is not a sports bike, but a nice touring bike for those who consider speed and hurried handling undesirable.

There are very under-rated bikes - Not quite as tough as the earlier 650 - the 700s, I believe are made in Spain, but still quite durable. I've read that the fuel pumps are a weak spot - after market replacements are much cheaper than the official Honda part. :-)

Hi, my NT 700V produced heat to front part of the Seat. It is bad in warm days... Do you please some idea?? Thank you.

Dumb suggestion but, can you fit a 12v computer fan in there to blow the heat out?

@Mitsaras-uw7bv
@Mitsaras-uw7bv 7 лет назад
Definitely buy the nt700, i had a vstrom and it was the boriest bike i've ever had.Deauville has much better brakes, is much more comfy, is much more reliable, very good fuel consuption, more room, much better wind protection and if you want one con is that it doesnt have a sixth gear, but dont bother because it has axle and not drive chain.

... Wind buffeting!?? The screen has 6 settings and lifts quite high, great for touring.But have to adjust manually! I have a black 09 model , very light compared to my FJR 1300 07. Only issue I have is , the rear end looks like a dog's butt!

Is there alot of vibration with this bike..?
@HowlerBikeVlogs
@HowlerBikeVlogs 8 лет назад
+Darren Lennox well it's a 2 cylinder so you're gonna have that base vibration all 2 cylinders have but it's not that bad and once you get over 3500rpm it's almost completely gone. below that it's is there especially when you're accelerating hard out of the low rpm range but it's never annoying or unpleasant.

just bought one for my wife,its her first bike,shes a little short any way to lower it?
@HowlerBikeVlogs
@HowlerBikeVlogs 7 лет назад
honestly i wouldn't change the height of the suspension as that will change the entire feeling of the bike and lower available grip = unsafe and unpredictable riding behavior. best thing to do is to maybe find a lower seat and or get used to it? buddy of mine is 5ft1" and he rides a Gs1200, has to jump off the seat at every stop but he never dropped it and got used to it. i mean you could lower the suspension but it's such a risky business and i know people who wrecked because of such modifications

Bit heavy,I would think,a Yamaha SZR660,is so light,user friendly,fun,yet easy to ride,with the exotic touch,I know,I've had both,much as I love Honda v-twins,I'd have the szr,'cos it's so light,happy,safe riding

I just farted while judging the homemade chutney competition at our local church fete. The waft actually caused the skirt on my frock to flutter. The fart sounded like someone ripping a blanket in a tunnel and the stench reminds me of a bucket of rotting cockerels. Mrs Janet Blythe from 42 Crompton Street Chigwell won the competition, by the way.
