Amazing .....and to think it pretty much started in Fresno , California at Dads Hornet Hobby Park ,along with a track in Chicago and in Oakland , CA . too . I was in a crib when Mom (Bernice Snow ) was cranking screws into the rail track with a ''Yankee'' style screw driver .....oohhhh, the stories . Hornet .60 was king , tether cars doing 110-120 in 1946 + .
Is this the worst tv production Ive ever Not seen? Could be. The cars fly by and there is this giant tv sign on the bottom where maybe we could have seen the cars. But, noooo, you had to leave it there to block the view on top of the fact theyre going at 200 mph! Why not place a go pro at the base of the wire looking out? Also, have you heard of fpv cameras? Look for different angles. Sorry, thumbs down.
LOL, In the UK we use a comma as the separator and read that as 342 thousand, and 28 Km/h - had to do a double take to realise it's actually 342 Km/h.... incredible speed, and to think that you have something that heavy, travelling that fast on the end of a bit of wire !!
