I just realized when I was looking through the comments on my videos, and I ran into one of yours, RU-vid has totally stopped sending me notifications for your videos! I feel like the same thing has been happening to me too!
My first saddle ever is the lockdown and it is awesome. I'm a big guy too, and all that you've said is true! It's your videos that convinced me I could do it.
So i ordered the Jx3 hybrid. Absolutely love it!...but, what i didnt understand is haw hard it would be to 1 stick. Literally almost impossible to do comfortably. Due to its ridged nature. But superb for an all day sit. So, now i have to buy thier sticks to use it. Not very small though. Its too much gear for a run and gun setup. I am ordering the lockdown today due to your video bro. I am a 240lbs fireman, and i need 3.5 hours max out of a hunt. This is perfect for a morning or evening, i will usr the jx3 for all day sirs. Thanks for your content, you have a new subscriber! 👍
I use the JX3 now and love it. I owned a couple others and the pinch points after all day and my knees killed me. JX3 is a Lazy Boy in a tree. My only problem with it is I have fallen asleep a few times in it. From dark to dark hunts are easy in it.
Just finished watching your One Stick for 250+ and went to your uploads to see what saddle you run. Glad you like this saddle because I've been watching Lockdown videos all day, but the reviewers were a little lighter than us lol. Great Video!
Thanks for the exellent review. Your opinion matters to me. I love your videos. I have taken your advice on the Phase 4 33 ,Sevr broadheads and now im considering the lockdown for 2024. Keep up the good work.
@@tomfagro6744 i take a carabineer and clip it around my suspenders in front and run an additional tether with a kong duck around the tree. The kong duck connected to the carabineer. I don't trust it fully because of the "yoke" system isn't meant to hold real weight, but it's nice to lean back a little. Or i run an additional tether around my body under the armpits but it's not as comfortable.
Hey brother, big fan. Have you tried the JX3 saddle? I have been on the fence about which saddle to purchase, as I am a big guy as well. I have watched hours and hours of videos and looked at reviews from many different companies. I have narrowed it down to the tethrd and JX3. My biggest concern is if hte JX3 will be big enough to accommodate a larger framed person. If you get a chance to try out one, and possibly review it, please let us know. Happy Hunting!
My one discomfort with mantis and phantom is my legs wanting to separate when sitting with knees into tree. I added a dryad to my phantom and it’s extremely comfortable. Only downside is one more thing to pack up at end of hunt. How do your legs feel in this saddle? Down the ability to pull it down help keep legs together when sitting?
