I heard Jackson has blown up in the recent years. Alot of money rolled into town and its turned into a bit of a ski resort with a pile of coffee shops, boutiques, and yuppies . The ritzy corner of Wyoming i guess... lol

I worked in LA Barge WY and in the middle of May I went through that pass 3 foot of snow on the ground. My ex wife and I were heading to Pocatello the scenic route in a 1965 Ford pickup truck. 1980 or so. It's beautiful but too cold for me.

My dad worked with road crew that straitened the Teton pass road 60 years ago you should have seen switch backs and narrow lanes before, grew up looking at those mountains every day, lot fewer people then.
