To be honest i feel like the contercharger is really only useful if you are running Diamantes and Basil so that you can pay for their cost as you use them, the G1 10k attacker sounds to me that it would be alot more useful than the 8k.

the skill still activates on your vg 4th attack. [Limit Break 4][1/Turn] When this unit attacks, it gets [Power]+5000 and the following ability until end of turn. " At the end of the battle your rear-guard attacked, if it is the 4th battle of that turn, [Counter Blast 2 and discard 2 cards from your hand] to stand this unit, and draw 2 cards." When this unit attacks a vanguard, it gets [Power]+3000 until end of battle.

You do not have to attack in the 2nd battle at all. That was the tcg skill, in Zero you just need a rear doing a 4th attack.

Glory actually would not have worked. He did not ride Maelstrom the last game, so Glory was still an Ultimate Break instead of a Limit Break. Because he healed down on his last turn, and his opponent denied him the fifth damage, Glory was just an 11k vanilla. Although it does not change the play you make, and as unlikely as it is, it is still very much possible his opponent had another grade 3 in hand. Based on the fact that they played a grade 3 the turn before, there are only four possibilities: They were confident in the fact that most Breakride decks do not normally run self damagers, and the fact that they were yet to see one. They missplayed for one reason or another. They had no PG in hand, and were not running more draws. They had another Grade 3 hand. If we give them the benefit of the doubt, saying that they would be prepared for the unlikely scenario that their opponent would have a self damager, the fact that they had another grade 3 in hand would be the most likely. In hindsight, which does not affect how you would have played against this, we know that between the two cards in hand and the eight in deck, that there were four grade 3s and one PG unaccounted for at the end of the game. It is rather close to being a 50-50 that one of the two cards in hand was a grade 3.
