Have been keeping fish since a 3 year old boy . I started building my personal aquarium around 2019 (grade 9) by 2021 I got kicked out of school etc . 2021 is when I decided to go into breeding full force but had no clue how to . Thankfully I stumbled across Dexter's world channel and got an excessive amount of knowledge on how to get an income from these freshwater babies . Ever since I've been super successful with breeding aswel as I've been able to support myself and family since my schooling career ended . I really hope to make it big someday in this business and my main goal is to visit Dexter to show him some of the fish I've managed to spawn through his knowledge and teaching methods and thank him alot. -All the way from South africa-

Good luck with these glo tetras Dex 😉 I've not seen mixed colour breeding before...usually colours are bred separately to maintain and improve the richness of the particular colour. Just a bit of trivia.... these black skirt or black widow tetras were genetically colour enhanced by introducing colour genes from various marine organisms 😉

They are not illegal to breed they are illegal to sale due to patents in USA and other countries tries. It very hard to enforce when they in a country that doesn't adhere to them. It's a crazy another world in other countries

Hello Mr. Dexter. In my part of the world, just THREE of those GloFish tetras sell for an amount equal to the monthly salary of a manual laborer. These are seriously expensive fish where I live, and only the rich would ever buy them. I studied numerous RU-vid videos on the subject of hatching these pricey tetras, but it is your tutorial that shows how easy this procedure is, and how easily one can hatch thousands of these fish at a time, simply by using a large number of parent stock at once. The only aspect of hatching tetras that was not addressed in the above video clip was with respect to the first feeding. From other videos I have learned that newly hatched live Artemia brine shrimp are the best first feed for tetra fry, but that the feeding must only start a couple of days after the new fry hare hatched, at the time when they are seen swimming freely after detaching from the aquarium walls where they spend the first day or two of their lives. I operated a catfish hatchery for years, and hatching that species is way more complex than the same process for tetras.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm you had to choose4 a coloured fish that is BANNED in most countries to keep Tetra will breed in soft water with a PH of 7 to 7.2 i found colleting rain water is the best way
