Hey everyone, the view count on this jumped up more than I anticipated and I'm thankful for all of you watching, truly! However, I'd advise against subscribing to this channel since I don't post frequently in hopes of viewership, revenue, impressions and all that icky RU-vid stuff. Thanks again for stopping by and watching the video! I don't really have any Tetris advice to give that other players are better at explaining (I can win 20% of my matches, and that's a far cry from true masters) but I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay on display here. :)
@EU faço fandubs e jogos 2 Glad i wasn't the only one to play back when it was actually called that, it needs to get popular again sometime, it's so good.
i studied from this video alone. apparently, the form of attacking are the gray bricks sent up from the bottom. there’s a warning sign at the bottom leading to one of the players, and i assume that when that player clears a line(s) they get sent to you in the form of those gray bricks. they function just like normal tetriminos except they’re gray and come from the bottom. that green target that bounces around is who *you* are sending your cleared line(s) to, and they will receive that line(s) via gray bricks. if they fill all the way up to your screen and you can’t place more without going off the grid, you lose, which is heard by the robotic “Game Over” sound.
That comeback though. God damn. Never thought I'd have such a heart attack from a battle royale game. Or a Tetris Game. Yet both combined gave it to me. Bravo.
It is a very popular old orchestral piece known as "Flight of the Bumblebee." I can just about guarantee you've heard before, just not with synthesizers.
This is the first video I've seen of Tetris 99. At the beginning I didn't understand everything outside the main playing field, but by the end I now already feel like I know how the whole game works. That's a sign of good game design!
He had the precision and timing of an absolute god, people call games like fortnite and all the other battle royale games a test of skill, and that them streamers like ninja are pro gamers. This legend here probably has 3 times the coordination, willpower and strategic intelligence than any of them, along with all the other pro Tetris players... can’t believe I said this about Tetris lol Also #plantgang
Jacob Persson It is such a rush to win a game, although you might just be playing and realise you’re in the top 10 and go ‘huh nice’ and then 5 seconds later you’re in second place and just get a clutch win by clearing one line
hopefully it is going to be a timed exclusive i mean come on they can't release a game that intends to compete with the battle royale genre with only 1 platform
Can't remember it exactly but I stumbled onto a glitch at that point where you could get cortex stuck at the first checkpoint and carry on with the course as slow as you'd like, then come back and let him run the whole thing.
@juanchogutro I was given the pass by my friend... I gave it to this fellow and now I cannot say the forbidden word.... Also do u have a pass for that word there?
@juanchogutro obviously this is more aimed at black people but there are a lot of people in cali waiting for an excuse to prove themselves but gl saying it dude idgaf what happens to you lmao
Seriously, I wonder how Nikolaï Alekseïevitch Nekrassov (the writer of Korobeïniki) and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (the writer of Flight of the Bumblebee) would react if we made them listen to how Nintendo changed their music for this game.
You know how when you watch a movie and the main character gets into a sticky situation, but you never get stressed because you know they can't die? I knew you were gonna win the match but I still got stressed.
This is really inspiring because you made a couple mistakes but STILL got first place. Remember kids, even heroes aren't perfect. You, too, can be a Tetris god.
If you use attackers though that's actually fairly beneficial if you're good at the game, since theres the chance that you'll get some early KO's, doing that you'll have some insurance going into the midgame
99 left: you have time, just use the blocks 50 left: okay time to prepare 10 left: *misplace misplace misplace misplace* then the other 9 players lock their random lines onto you
