Oh man, I was playing with this at a friend's house, and she hadn't solved it after like 2 years, so now I have seen that it IS possible to solve it. The note on the box saying over 9,000 solutions has to be a lie! LOL
From Nicholas and Ashley: Thank you so much for lifting this unbearable burden. We have been obssessively trying to solve this puzzle for over a year. I spent a week straight deriving an algorithm which could solve it, but no computer on Earth is fast enough to execute it in a lifetime. Ashley spent nearly 3 weeks working on this while she was sick and home from school. You have saved us from a life of our sanity melting away in a cave, while we try to fit the pieces together. yes, this is one of the best videos for clarity... Just came back from a camp where this puzzle was kicking around some exceptionally smart people (at least 30 people gave it 20 minutes+)...thing is, no one was getting this puzzle and we needed some encouragement. Thanks.
I have an, ahem, "only" six piece, 3x3 puzzle similar to this for 20+ years and i've never been able to get it back in the box! :D . Yet, i got a new wooden six piece puzzle yesterday, that i've solved twice now, mostly through blind luck, in about 20 minutes each time :D .

Finally I can pack this friggen thing away! Thank you! I bought this for myself for Christmas and it has been cluttering my desk and driving me crazy. I am really good at Tetris and I have a general knack for 'Tetrising' things (packing up car, pantry, etc)... but this stumped me. Glad to know I am not the only one struggling. Seems a bit bs that there are '9839 Solutions' :/
It seems to start out with the basic patterns of yellow, red and blue, with like colors not touching. around the surface which holds the last block pieces, the colors seem to overlap each other
Whew, we'd carefully done this in the past but never all the way.. then the cats knocked it into the floor. After an hour we gave up, this did it! Thanks!
Hades Dzn Tetra means four, thats why every block in Tetris only has four squares, so it would make sense why the Tetris Cube would have blocks consisting of Four Cubes.
Plot Twist: *_He can't speak and he is trying to explain Quantum Physics but the Trigonometric Ratio of Possible Events made it un occurable and we just made it a Game_*
Whoever says its fake, I've got a solution for you- get one of these cubes and try solving it with the vid. Unless you can't follow simple instructions :P
cuber 56,well, that solved one tetris cube.However, my other has reversed colors on the label box, and has blue, red, and white cubes. Why do only some pieces match? Also I cant find a match for it. Same case as yours. Reversed colors on sticker.
