[Tetris Effect: Connected] Connected, Area 4 Maniac (ft. Blink & uyeshota)

this one was much harder and we spent like 90 mins being stuck on this area
as a reminder, maniac mode gives all the following:
- bosses send attacks more frequently
- they play slightly faster
- attacks are more annoying to deal with
- zone meter fills much slower
we stopped here, as we got nowhere in area 5 and didn't pick it up again.
but i do plan to beat it someday... as far as i know, no one has beaten Area 5 Maniac yet.

I always can’t help but keep looking at boss’ board in every connect mode until I’m annoyed enough by its playing. But this CPU did much more Tspins than other CPUS I saw before. That’s kinda impressive.

This is actually super cool! I don’t know much about this game in particular, so it always amazes me to see this stuff. I was in awe when the three of your boards combined!

Tbh it was hilarious how they were climbing over one another when the boards combined. You should never go beyond your own boundaries unless if your ally sucks and you need to cover for them.

@@OST1350 Keep playing, learn how the rotation system works, the logic behind learning is no different than a fighting game, and Tetris Effect Connected is perhaps one of the BEST Tetris games to begin playing at!!

I do not know how far I would get with Level 10 CPUs since no one in my family comes close to my skill. I sense Local Matches will be a pain because the CPUs do not help revive themselves. Uyeshota gets a little carried away with the quick stacking in the brief time before the boards connect topping him or herself out.

Doremy is so proficient at this game it's almost incredible. There's no other Doremy. 5 seconds doesn't make a player better in my book. Don't get psyched out Doremy you are the bomb!!

I just barely beat area 4 last night, after a lot of strategizing and looking for a team with good synergy. But even the dream team couldn't take on area 5. Maybe I need more practice.

My strategy is to constantly keep the board as flat as possible, and remember where I put certain pieces. If I mess up and forget, I usually go much slower, and try to "feel around" for where a piece can go without creating gaps. Initially, yeah, Hide Field is a godawful attack to deal with, but you can only do so much to mitigate how annoying it is.

@@Kummahndough hide field is awful if you have a high stack, it killed me several times, especially with bad rng. I needed an I piece, and it just wouldn't give me one. I ended up dying.

The phases will only be as long as you allow it to be. If you and your tm8s are proficient in making tetrises youll finsh quite fast
