Tetris PLUS (PS1) Music - Classic Mode Extended 

This game was my mother's favorite game before she passed, I listen to this track and close my eyes and it still feels like she's there playing the game from the living room.

I know that people think of the original Gameboy version's music as the "Tetris song", but this will always be that song for me.

Classic mode was The most iconic melody in this game and the one players remember the most.

Back when we played this a lot more often, we often used to joke about the announcer's lines, as the way he said "Single!" was just hilarious to younger me. Now, when I hear this song, it brings back good memories and further supports how Playstation 1 was likely the last console with amazing soundtracks.

I remember playing that game all together with my brother, sister, mother and father. One of those typical family gaming weekend days.

This was my mother's favorite game, she wasn't a gamer by any stretch of the word but the amount of times she's beaten this game are immeasurable. Every time I hear this it brings back fond memories of when she'd play this on my PlayStation and I tear up every time.

I remember when I was 7 I was playing this game with my mom. Countless nights playing this. Just listening to this brings back all those memories. Just recently re purchased this game to re live those memories.

I miss the early 2000s when I was a kid playing this with my parents and all the bullshit hadn’t started in my life yet school drama work the worlds drama politics society and all the other shit I’ve been through but it’s all been worth it cause I’m at such a better place now in my life then I was a few years ago looking back now I don’t feel stuck anymore in nostalgia I’m glad to be where I’m at now creating new memories now when I look back at these times I’m glad I had them at all and will always have those memories 😀

Used to play this game years ago, and it took me way too long to remember the name of the game. An absolute gem of a game on the PS1 and an amazing soundtrack to boot.

I don't know if it's just my nostalgia misleading me, but this is my favorite entry in the Tetris franchise and the Arcade only sequel is just as great.

ah, how I love nostalgia. The days when me and my sis tried to beat story mode, from rapidly moving blocks without having a clue if I could get it in the place I need it to go...We never could save our progress, but because we were diligent in learning this game, me and my sis both beat Atlantis in story mode on different occasions...It took me like 6 hours of nonstop tetris action...gosh, this game was insanly difficult for a 8 year old :D

I miss this so much. Us to play this on super Nintendo. I would love if they have it for the Switch.

i have a mixture of love and hate for classic mode. love the gorgeous bgm. hate how both the music and the descent of the blocks suddenly and randomly speed up. always makes it hard for me to properly focus on the block placement as the false sense of urgency gets me all nervous and worked up.
