A conversation between lovers.
They say a young man fell in love with the village rich man’s daughter but he had nothing to offer for her hand but a song. He then brought to her, a unique gift, never seen before - a musical instrument fashioned from a piece of shiny cured bottle gourd and some twine strung on a cane rod - against each strike, he sang to her this song. He won her heart and her hand and they lived happily ever after.
The gift was a “Tati” - the one stringed Naga folk instrument.
