Tex Don & Charlie - Sing Me Back Home / Sunday Morning Coming Down 

Hello all, hope you're staying safe and healthy. Thanks for your continued loyalty to the channel. Here are two hidden gems back to back, from Tex Don & Charlie's only live album 'Monday Morning Coming Down' (1995) recorded at the Esplanade Hotel, St. Kilda. Described by Tex as 'wobbly covers', Sing Me Back Home was by Merle Haggard, and Sunday Morning Coming Down was by Kris Kristofferson, though my favourite version comes from Johnny Cash.
Sunday Morning seems under-rehearsed (Don had to step in and help Tex with the lyrics), but it's performed very sincerely. Enjoy!
