Video shot in the summer of 1991 of the dormant Texaco oil refinery at Lockport, Illinois (a southwest suburb of Chicago). The refinery became operational in December 1911 and closed down in 1981 (about the same time Texaco pulled out of the Chicago market selling gasoline and associated petroleum products). The demolition of the refining units was just beginning at the time this was recorded. However, it would not be until around 1996 that this would be completed. Today, only the large tank farm remains of this industrial complex.
