wnterbird in my opinion I think vegans trying to stop Texans culture and tradition are a little bit dumb because me and other Texans like our traditions and how our culture is. Ex- rodeos, BBQ, etc

@@yeye6980, last time I checked, being vegan had no health benefits. There is stuff in May that the human body needs, plus the whole saving animals argument is not correct. There is a balance to the ecosystem, if we let every animal or and never hunted again. Those animals would eat all the plant making it so they started starving, once most of the bottom of the food chain died, then the predators like bears, wolves, and us would start dying, because the herbivores would eat all the plants, they would die leaving no meat, then we would have nothing to eat. Then we would starve, now we have other countries that would sell is food so we would be fine, but the animals, most of them would die. Eventually after years did will grow back and the ecosystem will naturaly restate itself, but only after many years. So tell me, what good does being vegan do.

The only similarity to us and animals is that we both live, and that's where the similarity ends. We humans have reason, animals don't, we have morality, they don't, and we have mastered technology, the only animal besides us with this ability is us and an ape. But an ape doesn't go far with technology, sure they use sticks to eat bugs, we practically have the ability of god to the apes. After all, he did create us. But as for the rest of the animals, well, even life itself is cruel to animals as well. So every time I hear vegans blaming us humans for problems to the natural world, I just laugh. Them vegans use "speciesm" as an excuse, but even nature is a speciest system as well. After all, you vegans get mad at us for eating meat, but don't get mad when lions tear open a zebra's throat. We humans have the ability to eat BOTH meat and plants, and when I see these arguments between meat eaters and vegans, y'all just sound stupid. After all, both plants and meat helped develop man kind. And about us sitting on the top of the food chain, just know we worked our way to the top over the centuries.

I was a vet tech and while in that Industry it does not cross your mind that you're hurting animals. It's called speciesism. Even in textbooks that I still have the level of care for dogs and cats vs other species is apparent but when you are not vegan you don't notice it.

Factory farms are over producing these animals in mass quantities due to such a high demand of these products. This is causing an abnormal amount of methane to be released into our atmosphere. I’m not just talking out of my ass. There are countless documentaries on these isssues. Just read a fucking college level environmental science textbook and you will see this.
