Initial test flight of the 17 inch wingspan Texas A&M AG-1 free flight rubber scale model. The 98% finished model flew pretty much "right off the board" as they say. The model weighs 11g without motor and has ~ 60sq in wing area. .1 X 20in Tan Super Sport test motor weighs 3.2g. Model is carrying .8g tail weight. Next steps are 6in carved balsa prop with 1.6 P/D and longer motor to lengthen flight duration while reducing tail ballast.
