So glad Michael is in College Station . Played there many years ago and always knew A&M was a sleeping giant in baseball . The hire of Jim Schlossnagle was a generational move. Like Mike , I think he is one of the smartest coaches I have ever been around . The staff he put together , with Yeskie , Cain and Michael … is one the top 2 or 3 in the country .
Hitting is just one part of it. If players struggle with pitching and fielding and just hit, you'll just be mediocre. If A&M gets a pitching coach to replace Max Weiner, it could become a consistently elite program.
