Great show, Zac! I've seen Andrew on your show before. Really enjoyed his breakdown then and did this time, too. He knows his football pretty well and can articulate his pov clearly. On top of that he seems to be a really humble, likeable guy. Maybe you could get the Locked On guy/gal for each opponent in the week leading up to each game? Just an idea. Again, I really, really enjoyed the show.

Evan Stewart could do amazing things, but he didn’t do them very often in games and I won’t miss him.

The D-Line at A&M is still loaded with talent. Way more than Zac realizes. There is still Shemar Turner, Shemar Stewart, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, and DJ Hicks. All 5-stars. Plus Malick Scylla and Enai White who were important rotation pieces last year. And then you add Nic Scourton, who is likely one of the best in the country. Payton Thorne last year versus A&M was one of the worst QB performances I've ever seen and a lot of talent from that defensive front is back. I think the line is fair right now.

Thorne getting a spring, coaches on the same page, no stupid ass rotation with QB's, better receivers, and better O-line, he has to be a TON better this year. Good show. Always liked A&M as they are comparable to Auburn with Alabama and Texas.

Andrew I would say that I cannot believe you took that but truth is I can easily believe it. You sat through that disrespect giving minimum pushback and receiving snide potshots. The fact is Vegas put out the line so if Zac feels 'disreprected'. Maybe he should have interviewed someone from Las Vegas. Secondly, I watch both shows and barely comment on either. Zac and Dap has been counting A&M as a win in several of their podcast episodes. You should feel disrepected. Disrespected that a last place SEC West team with a 3-5 conference record is talking to you like that!

Another great show Zac. The Texas A&M guest fail to mention the fact that the Aggies have a new coach. He also makes the same amateur mistakes most fans make by blaming the quarterback for the team success with watching the replay to see why the quarterback performance was poor. It only takes a few seconds to compare Auburn’s “pass rush protection” and offensive line skills with that of most of our opposing teams “pass rush protection”. You can also look at any team at any level that have an “elite” quarter back and watch any of the rare games that they loss. What one will see is the pass rush protection (or lack of it) they had allowed the elite quarter back to be pressured to the point of: (#1) having less time to throw the ball, (#2) causing turn-overs he would not have normal done, (#3) losing yardage while being chased, and (#4) throwing interceptions. In short, most any average or above quarter back’s performance is proportionate to the quality of the (#1) offensive line blocking, (#2) pass protection, and (#3) skills of the receivers. Apparently Coach Hugh Freeze saw the same thing or he would have replaced the quarter back.

Thorn was a good QB and will be much better this year. Just look at how many dropped passes we had last year. With the receiving core we have this year that should end.

Elco is a first year head coach in the SEC. Most of those guys dont manage 8 wins . Its usuall around that 6 to 7 mark until you can build your culture... Not high on A&M but they will be solid. I have Auburn by 7 in this one.
