COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -With Texas A&M’s season opener against Notre Dame just days away, Texas A&M University police are warning fans about ticket scams that have already cost some students hundreds of dollars.
At least three students have reported losing a combined $1,200 after purchasing counterfeit tickets for Saturday’s game, according to Texas A&M University Police. Officials are urging fans to buy tickets only from the 12th Man Foundation or its preferred partner, SeatGeek, to avoid being scammed.
