Thank you for working over the weekend, David. I know I sure appreciate your sharing of valuable information. May your coffee be strong and your new viewers become faithful subscribers! ☕️
I'm in the Panhandle and just recently found your channel. Just wanted to thank you!! I love my state and now I can come to one channel to keep up with the whole state👊💥 Texas strong 💪🇺🇲♥️
As long as it doesnt rain as much as Harvey, I'll be fine. My apartment had 3 feet of water in it from Harvey. First time it had flooded since being built 50 years ago!
I'm right there with you, we had water to the roof in some places in my neighborhood. Thankfully our house didn't flood but we did have an airboat in our front yard loading neighbors from two door away. I'm in Friendswood, Blackhawk Blvd area. I don't mind the rain, even the winds of a one or so aren't too bad, but any more than that and I get nervous. :)
Yeah Harvey is always going to be the rain measurement of any storm moving forward. We survived it with no flooding. So as long as it's not that level, we should be fine. I'm probably more concerned about the wind speeds this time around
Its over the very warm water of the Gulf, I bet it climbs back to a cat 2 . Just my opinion. Thanks David for the information! God bless!! Everyone stay safe!!
Thank you!! I'm 15 miles from Galveston, near NASA. Been watching this thing since it made and not everyone is saying it's coming in up the coast. Seems like the nationals and such know the Rio Grande but not everyone knows things like Matagorda Bay. I am thankful for the detail you're putting into this one. I've subbed and am going to keep you on speed dial. :)
Good morning, David Reimer. How are you doing today? Thank you, Chief, for keeping us updated with the hurricane. We can use some more rain. 😊God bless you always and your listeners, and your team . Praying for all in the path of the hurricane. Keep up the good work. Have a great day. 😊❤.
Midway Brazos Valley sure needs an inch or more for the geese and ducks. Getting a bit dry. Thank you for always being here for us ❤ much love to all from central Texas
Oof, I really was hoping Beryl will provide more relief for those in the Hill Country who need it. I recently checked the latest drought map and all of east Texas is still drought free.
And we're BARELY getting a full day of rain here in Austin from all this. 😔 I wish I could transport some of the heavy rain up here so they won't get as much flooding on the coast. Stay safe down there everyone!
Thank you David. Glad you made safe flight back. Thank you for coverage during your vacation. Iver and above professional responsibilities. That means a lot to us in TEXAS. We are in DFW EAST AREA. Praying for this to turn around and go away. Stranger things have happened. God is always listening. Blessings.
As of 7am CDT 07-06-24, the NHC update reports disorganization and the storm has no defined eye. It is having a hard time getting it's wrap back together but it will eventually. This is due to dry air being pulled in on the south side of the storm, from the desert southwest. I am predicting the eye, once reformed, will jump further due north of its current estimated location due to the abundance of moisture in the northern sector and warmer water in the upper Texas coast. This will not necessary change the forecasted models, it will just reset a new starting point once the eye has reformed. This will, however, shift the cone further north and place the more likely landfall around Galveston. Forecasters will know more once the storm chaser aircraft can pin point a new eye location.
Do you think they'll use microwave towers to slow it down making it stronger? After all the engineered tornados this past winter and spring makes me leary
