Stories like these can truly make your heart melt. I was trying to hold back tears, just fanning my face. But the moment I heard that... that.. 'contractor' ran with the money and did what they did.. Oh.. I just broke. To see the house as it was... Oh, goodness. How can anyone do that to a kid and his big brother?! Just.. how? It saddens me to see things like this happen to good people. I broke at that moment. To do that to two boys who lost so much... that is just low belt. To see the way the house looks now and the boys react, I cried even more. Then the money.. then Kelly adding to that. Kelly, you have texas size heart of gold. It shows in your music.. your talk shows.. just the way you are. We need more good people in this world. We need people like Mr. Ron.. Like Kelly. You just showed us one of the million reasons why Kelly is so highly respected and loved. 😭🥰💗

The 13 yr old is exceptionally wise and intelligent and filled with humility. So well spoken is not out of context nor is it a slight in complimenting them.I understand though where you're coming from but in this case and time we're living in where ignorant language is glorified, these young men choose to honor their mother by exemplifying what type of young men she raised.
They don't need to go to college they have the intelligence and the faith to make it and a God that's looking out for them and college is not the answer to make it in the world God is in control of these young men's life and college is not the answer for success in this world But God is!
@@freespirit7475 Cristo, cretins yeah read about thessalonians speak on how evil Christians really are college is another way to set you up to stay in debt and we're getting ready to go into a recession and things getting ready to get crazy especially for certain people and now that God has restored there faith and set them both up for life and college is the answer now what about believing and trusting God and letting him be the way truth and life none of those people gave a college fund for a reason!

I lost my mom at a young age so i can relate but now as a mother myself, all i want are for my children to be like this. Your mom must be so proud of you. I have tears of joy for you. Keep going and i hope you keep up the good work!
God Bless everyone who helped these guys out with their house and gave them money. I hate to hear stories about other people stealing from anyone. I am so happy that the community stepped into help these brothers, it just warms my heart and I was tearing up while I was watching this. Texas ATTORNEY GENERAL needs to find that shady contractor! Lord knows I’m not perfect, but it takes a sic sic sic individual to scam these kids after knowing what they’ve been through and preying on their vulnerabilities. God’s gonna get him good! I feel more sorry for him than those boys.
These two young men give hope to all that our society can grow better and bigger. We need more of them. As to Kelly you are a wonderful human. I am 48 years old and I call myself a Kelly FanBoy because you are truly the light in every dark corner of the world.
I can't watch these without crying. First I'm crying at the losses the boys suffered, then I'm crying out of anger at the "contractor" who made things worse inside the house and then stole the money they had given him as a down payment, then I'm crying when the local volunteer committee rebuilds and refurnishes the home for the boys, and then crying some more when H-E-B Grocery made donations to the boys as well as to Ron as head of the neighborhood foundation. And then to have Kelly throw in another $10,000 of her own - the boys have been given back the amount stolen by the contractor!
Wow to be so young and to have gone through so much just to be taken advantage of! Such amazing, inspiring strong young men their mother clearly did a great job raising them both. ♥

So what about the guy that took the money. You must have his name and im sure you paid him in check's so you'd have his signature. As much as you may not get your money back from him you can certainly make him answer for what he's done to you and stopping him from striking again on anyone else.

I’m balling my eyes out. Also our H-E-B grocery stores in Texas are awesome. They always give back. We are lucky to have H-E-B and their employees going above and beyond. Especially on holidays. They are always doing something for everyone and the kids.
we really are, HEB does SO MUCH for their local communities...did you know it was voted one of the top 5 'national' grocery chains in the country? The article said, yes, they are only in Texas but they have over 250 stores AND are AWESOME! Happy Holidays!

Oh,, how I needed to see this clip. I'm 67 and is sittin' here wiping big ol' Texas tears for this beautiful brothers. It warms my heart to see disasters crushed by fellow Texans coming forward to show the media that kindness does exist. It doesn't always have to be negative news all the time. A truly heartwarming story. I just lost my older brother Jaylan but he was there for me my entire life. What you do and what you mean to Julian is just wonderful. You are the finest example of humanity. I hope life treats both of you kind from here on .
