During the 85th Texas Legislature, SB 179 - "David’s Law" was passed and signed into law effective September 1, 2017. The newly enacted law relates to harassment, bullying and cyberbullying of a public school student, a charter school student or a minor and encouraging certain mental health programs for public school students; increasing a criminal penalty, and providing a civil remedy.

Anybody who's child is being bullied needs to contact a lawyer and file a police report. Also contact the superintendent of the schools and keep a record of these things. I did.

This could be simplied: did the student who was being bullied tell the bullies to leave them alone? If they did - and the bullies did not choose to leave them alone - then the bullies should be expelled.

Yes, we must have legislation against bullying. Also, workplaces bullying. It's terrible what bullies get away with.

I need help please 😭😭. My son is becoming a fragment of whom he used to be daily. They are bullying him online and at school. The bullying gets worst if he reports it. Last school year he told the principal he was gonna kill himself because he's tired of it and it it's a whole other year and the same kids are bullying him. I reported it so much,spoke to parents and nothing. Hardin Jefferson School district is doing nothing

Maybe you need to file a police report. It is a LAW, therefore charges can be brought up if they continue . . .

Anybody else forced to watch this at school, i hate school with a passion… only the bullies should be watching this dumb shit. I aint need to know everything about the stuff that i already knew
