I honestly think Cook talking about Johnny "springing a love child" is less about having feelings for Maria and more about predatory nature. Johnny is demented, loves hunting people and enjoys having complete control and he mainly targets young women. I would not be surprised if he used every physical means to dominate targets he felt made for a fun hunt.
I totally agree with this and I get so tired of seeing people on Tumblr talking about how Johnny is so lovey-dovey to Maria and I’m like guys he’s literally a murderous psychopath
@toonghost3 Oh for sure! First time I heard this I was dying and he says it just right as well- Assuming we never get Matthew in the game this is just perfect
This guy is good, but he's no Jim Siedow. He played the cook in the original TCM 1 and 2, and is the person the cook character is modeled after. That dude was a great actor! I wish they got a dude who sounded more like him to do the voice acting for this. I think he was kinda iconic in the first two films
2:08 Johnnys love child? I know Johnny is the one who targeted Ana’s sister Maria but does this line imply Johnny may have assaulted Maria as well as killed her? Woah…
I think it's most likely that they killed her faster than usual because they didn't want johnny helping her. we do know they have a history with torturing their victims before killing them. I doubt that they would have... THAT in the lore.
that kind of plot line is unfortunately a thing in TCM3 (1990) with Leatherface having a child with one of the kidnapped victims before eventually killing her. it might be a reference to that, but it could also just be Drayton's (The Cook's) sex & relationship negative attitude showing like it did in TCM2. Maybe Cook just thinks Johnny's a manwhore.
I honestly think Johnny was the one who found her and brought her back, forcing them to kill her, as the Family seems to prefer killing people who cannot be traced back to them.
It’s implied Johnny had a thing for Maria. He even says he didn’t really want to hurt her in his voice lines. The family wasn’t having it and killed Maria before Johnny could assault her and make a child
When he said something about "Nancy's house" i wonder if its just her Sissy and Johnny or if they have some other people with them,, would be a interesting way to add more killers into the game imo
Cook is by far the best when it comes to talking trash. I just love all his lines, but if you listen when he talks to Nancy, you can tell that she's old lady. Because when he's he talk about get your family in Control
6:04 Now you listen, I ain't much interested in chasing around much longer. Now stop your running! I keep hearing footsteps louder when i heard this line.
I don’t understand why some of the characters voice lines imply Johnny and Maria had a romantic relationship when in the petals dlc her car broke down and she met the family for the first time
If I’m not mistaken there was a social media account dedicated to Maria (I never looked it up so I’m ignorant to the details)which showed postcards Maria sent the Flores family during her travels. One of the postcards supposedly mentioned Maria meeting a cute boy in town which had to have been Johnny.
@@NoLifeArcadeshe didn’t meet Johnny. She mentions that she noticed a man (who she admits is handsome) following her, but she says she is probably just being paranoid in the next postcard.
Is there any noise files for when family and Victims get stunned? I was looking for one with cook in particular because I knocked him one time and he when “HEhe-“
