TEXAS DRIVE: Diboll to Corrigan on  

Ride with us in the Piney Woods as we drive from Diboll to Corrigan, #Texas on Highway 59 South. Highway 59 South (soon to be Interstate 69) is a four- divided highway and we will see the clearing and construction being done on the Interstate 69 (I69) Corridor as we are in Diboll and as we enter Corrigan. Diboll is a small town in Angelina County named after J.C. Diboll, a local timber salesman. We are deep in the #PineyWoods and we will see this after we drive mile after miles with a forest of pine trees on both sides of the road. We will cross over the Neches River and there are signs of the heavy rainfalls this region has received with the river being over its banks and water pooling on the sides of the road in places. We will pass by the turn-offs for FM (Farm to Market) roads 357 and 1987. We will end this drive in downtown Corrigan, with its distinctive two water towers.
