I was in Houston two years ago for the State Bar annual meeting with my husband and I found the downtown area where the Minute Maid ball field is absolutely beautiful. We walked around the streets, visited a grocery store, Chick-fil-A and the Saltgrass Steak House and had a great meal and good time. We even went to the Astros game. The hotel right there by the ball field was beautiful with great access to the game.Can't beat that! Can't wait to visit Houston again!!

People are learning to give each other mercy, they have no choice. Even Mr. Responsible who pays his bills perfect. That guy said I've never been shipwrecked. These floods are very similar to being shipwrecked.
Why didn’t the SJRA lower the level of Lake Conroe early in the week when there was time. Everybody knew strong storms with flooding rain was coming. I hope they are sued again like after Harvey when Kingwood flooded because of rapid dam releases. They also didn’t lower the lake level prior to Harvey. They are terrible people who all probably live upstream 🤬
